no offence to Kamal, but what he did in Dasavathaaram wasnt that great. His performance in UPO was far better imo.
"Would Kamal have done this if Vikram was in Surya's place?". Well in 2008, he had Kandhaswamy,& if he had got the 'best actor' award for that, it would have been an epic joke. No offence to Vikram, he's an amazing actor ,as proven in Sethu, etc, but Kandhaswamy was pure crap.

yh he did get bst screenplay, comedian, etc. But acting, it wasnt as gd as we'd expected. Kamal awarded the award cuz he was requested, not cuz of so-called relation. It wud have bn stupid to give the award to Dhanush&Ravi, cuz both of them didnt do much work, they just copied the original (esp J.Ravi).
BTW, Naan Kadavul released in 2009.

fyi, did check it out, and it did release in 2009. Also, i remember watching the audio launch on 1st jan 09. And all the awards award for it were award this year for 2009 (Filmfare, Vijay awards, National Awards, etc)

in next years "vijay awards",Rajni will recieve the best actor award for "enthiran"......the reason??..he has not acted in any stunt scenes,and there is no commercial touch in that film......so,the mental cases will now call rajni as actor and give him award......if enthiran had one or two stunt scenes,then they will dismiss rajni as non-actor......loosu pasanga....

Rajni is always better actor than this komaali dabba kamal haasan......this kamal haasan changes get-up,will not act in stunt scenes(since he is a goyaan with no heroism),then he will either lose or die in the climax;or always crying for most part of film(like a lady)......and,the idiotic bastards immediately lick his feet and call him "BEST ACTOR"....since rajni looks like a hero and acts in stunt scenes and does not overact,he is not considered ACTOR ..but who cares??.
