Well I would play this game, but there are two major problems.

1- No distribution in europe - that problem could be avoided by downloading emulator and rom from net.

2- No localized version. Everything in Japanese. Not even a patch! Well that's no problem if there are walkthroughs so you know the dialogs, but good luck finding one particular spell on the list with all of them written down in JAPANESE!

Yeah, I never liked how Lina looked (yellow T-shirt, etc) in any of her movies w/ Naga. It's kind of bland for such a fiery person, and is a far cry from her nearly magenta ensemble in the series.

And her hair totally looks different. Looks decidedly orange.

Royal 2 opening isn't as good as the first. For one thing, the animation is lazy. When you got the ability to animate....THEN ANIMATE! << Then again, a lot of anime's don't do such good animation. But Slayer's isn't like all anime's. It's an awesome series which I rank as first class entertainment.

And secondly, the song just isn't as lively or triumphant. I mean I get seriously pumped listening to the first song. Eh, that's just my opinion,

One thing you guys must remember that Naga is an OVA only character. You will never see her and any of the seasons.

I would like to see Naga in the series sometime. There have been a few references to her, at least once in each of the previous three series. And Amelia dropped a hint to her identity in Try. Seeing and hearing Naga and Phil together might be interesting. Imagine both laughing at the same time.

it's a copy from the times when lina traveled with Naga. They each got a copy that was the exact opposite of the original. Example: Real Lina is mean, loves voilence, and is flat. Copy Lina is nice, hates violence and has a chest. Complete opposites. Really scary...

Slayers Again was not a joke, they were planning a fourth season, but it wound up getting canceled due to conflicts in Megumi Hayashibara's schedule (I checked)

They ARE, however, making a new short film, though it will only be available in Japan to people who buy all three seasons of the TV Series.

My hope is that someone will put a subtitled version on YouTube not too long after it's release, especially since it's supposed to focus on Lina/Gourry romance...
