I wish my Greek was good enough to do a translation...perhaps I can find someone who can. Thank you for your kind remarks. I'm glad you like the music.
Click on the link 'more' on the right side of this video. This will open the box and reveal the English translation for 'Theos An Einai" I hope you enjoy this song as much as I do. It's my favorite I think.
when i was inn Greece ..one family heard about my love for Haris and they owned the restaurant i used to eat ..so it was only Harismusic from i came till i left.
I love all her music.
Thank u SO much for translation on 1 of my favorites.
@Giselamusic1 The translation for the first song is:
All of the world's Sundays shine in your face, What colors, what music inside your smile (these lines then repeat in inverse order) Like the fire you are hot. You're Jesus Christ Himself; a Jesus from the neighborhood who's weathered a snow storm.
How beautiful it is for me to love you and to want you; to sweeten your sorrow and to comfort you. (these lines then repeat in inverse order) Like the fire you are hot....

@janetathensbay You're most welcome. Actually, looking it over again, the song doesn't mention Jesus by name; the lines should read "you 're Christ Himself", and "a Christ from the neighborhood".
Thank you Mirrjjam for watching my video. I'm glad you enjoyed the concert. It was so fantastic to see so many people in the beautiful Kalimarmaro Stadium. The stage was great and the orchestra was perfect! Everything was stunning. Next time you are in Athens, drop me a line and we may meet for a coffee:):) Kalo Kalokeri!
Tell me about it... I couldn't capture the magical moment when Haris and Maria del Mar Bonet sang together in Barcelona, half in greek half in catalan... I still flagellate myself :)
Anyway, the photos are great, you were really near the stage! And that place is so huge!
My friend had complimentary tickets from Minos Records and we 'thought' that the seats were reserved...but they were not! So, by the time we entered the Stadium, all the seats were taken! We had no choice but to stand...for awhile...until I asked one of the sound men if I could please sit on his equipment suitcase!!! As it turned out, I was very lucky indeed, because I was on the right side of the stage and in a perfect position to just run out in front of the stage and take photos! Not bad.
Euxaristo Theodor for your nice comment. This is my very first slide-show-video I've ever made! So, it's not exactly perfect, but I am learning. Plus, my camera Kept running out of batteries! I only have a very simple canon digital...and I am still learning how to use the Window Movie Maker program.
I love Alexiou's voice and here music. Her musicians are among the best in Greece.

Well, I was there too, came special from Holland to see her, made many great photos and video's.
In my opinion Haroula was extraordinary, some say it was her best concert in the last 10 years.
Sitting there on the second row I fully enjoyed every minute of it, what a beautiful voice and what a great artist she is.
I am surly planning to see her every year, with regards from Holland.
