Surprised Newman is not on your list. Aside from his Daytona 500 win, he has wrecked in virtually ever plate race he has been in. At Darlington, he pitted as the leader, hit the kill switch, didn't realize he did, and ended up 5 laps down. Back when he drove the 02 for Penske he wreck out of the lead a lot, including the time he crashed into a lapped car and gave the win to Jimmie Johnson. Jimmie's only Busch win.

@NascarNixon Interesting point. However, most of the drivers in the coutdown haven't made the chase (Elliott Sadler the exception), & have not been in championship contention in any division of NASCAR they have competed in like Newman has.
