  • Hey dude, I have one question.. I will build oven like this for pizza and I'm wondering what did you mix together to build oven arch from bricks? Is that just normal concrete or you add something to that concrete or is this some special mixture?

    THANK YOU

Your video is nice and your oven look great!

You need special heat resistant concrete to hold together the bricks. Remember these bricks, as well as the flat surface of the oven where you place the pizza is made from special stone that absorb and hold tremendous heat. Regular concrete would crack. You should inquire at the place that sells these special bricks about the special heat resistant concrete that is either sold ready for use (looks and feels like dark thick glue - I used that) or powder that is mixed with water.

  • Very nice!

  • Yes. You can see the gas burner on the left side of heating chamber, see minute 6:43 and minute 7:29 of the video. The burner is only on one side of the chamber and the heat goes up and around the whole space. In addition, you can also place firewood inside and light it up once warm push ashes to the back. Enjoy!

  • Do you heat the oven with gas ?
