In case no one's figured it out yet, the being from a different planet thing is to capture attention to the real issues. Like in this video, Why aren't we doing more to rehabilitate repeat offenders? Why don't we care for our poor? etc. ,etc. Its just a different way of attracting people'es attention to social problems.

This is really upsetting. I have alot of knowledge in writing, especially for being so young (14) for the past three years i wanted to write a book about a planet called Zambodia. However, I don't agree with you that Mongo has a problem with his neighbors because if that were the case, why wouldn't he just accept their offer of a buy out instead of telling them that the property wasn't for sale at any price? Mongo has been feeding the hungry for at least 20 years. In the summer of 1987 I saw him feed about 40 homeless guys in a Memphis alleyway.

Memphians really should select him as their city Mayor even though he only spends 8 months out of the year in town. They are currently stuck with the absolute worst mayor in the United States. Many 30 something professionals like myself left the social downfall in Memphis caused by Willie Herentons policies. As crazy as it is in Memphis The Mongo stories make many of us homesick!!!
