Respond to this video... Hey brother, I haven't actually. I am afraid it would put my friends to sleep. Come to think of it, some of them post videos late at night when they can't sleep. Maybe it would be a service to them. You can listen to my sermons when you're hard up by going to the legacy church dot net (all one word). Thanks for your comment brother.
MORE VIDEOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope all is well with you PipePastor, I really wish I could find a Pastor like your self around where I live. Great videos God bless you and your Videos
Going to try the Black Gold tobacco you recommend. Also, for some reason I can't find the Hobbit Dinner video you mention anymore. Sorry to see it go.
Thanks for the video, very informative. It's very hard to find a pastor who is solid in the faith, smokes a pipe, loves Tolkien, and ale. Believe me, I've looked. I look forward to more of your videos. Blessings.
A pastor, apolgetist, into tolkien LOL I need to move to california to start going to your church hehe.
Ive been talking to MrBlink ishi from Sri Lanka and he says good things about tjhe BlackGold you sent him.Id like to try it what company makes it or website do you get it from?
@bigpoppamike100 No problem Big Poppa, it is an honor you came over to the portch, brother. Hope all goes well with you and yours and it is a pretty impressive thing when you have such a large contingency. Smoke on brother, P
Very interesting and informative video, I wonder if these differences account for why the majority of pipe smokers are male or perhaps it is simply the masculinity of this pastime.
An annual hobbit dinner is such a brilliant way to honour the genius that is J.R.R. Tolkien, I plan on doing a video for Tolkien fans in the pipe smoking community by visiting the area where he began his work on Middle-earth.
@SimpaSmoker Good man. A pipe smoker's temperament is usually more contemplative, easy going, affable, set apart, congenial, convivial, obliging, loves solitude and quietude in moderation, and is keen to linger long on the quality of the pleasure rather than the quantity of it. Most pipe smokers are men, but those women who also enjoy it share in these homogeneous traits. Oh, and at least in my own personal observation of myself, prone to bluster and be full of crap.
Interesting reminders about some of the underlying differences between guys and gals. I remember studying all this material in great depth years ago as part of my own training. While the chemistry may be true, we sure don't want to reduce human behavior or inclinations to mere "hard-wired" chemical reactions. That would be an oversimplification and destroy any concept of personal freedom and responsibility. Thanks for the thought-provoking remarks!
@VSLDavid Not to worry my friend. I am far from a Determinist. I enjoy watching science play catch up with what our Maker has made us to be, although the hard wiring isn't all that "hard" not the chemistry static. Thanks for the input brother, P
@PipePastor No worries, my brother! I didn't think you were headed in that direction. It's just that I was glad to finally find some time to view a few videos, and decided to post my "two cents"! :-)
Good to see you at the Green Dragon Inn! Ah, forgive me, the Prancing Pony! Great information. Understanding this stuff makes it much easier to understand the dynmaics of relationships. It is also great to know why I constantly carry a notebook with me!
@ClandestinePipe HAH! Great comeback brother. So what if we're confused with the Rohirrim and other cultures in middle earth. The point is, we are somewhere where there is Elves (mad elves that is), dwarves (Nic is a mutated dwarf) and hobbits (Dave is the size of two Bull Roarers) and I am from the white city ( I am better looking than these other posers). The menu: Guinness, Mad Elf Ale, roasted chickens, beer bread, stuffed mushrooms and bacon, potatoes onions and peppers, and sausages.
@PipePastor Ah, brother, I yearn with envy! I think on my best days I'm a hobbit, but I smell like an orc! that meal sounds like the best thing that ever happened to a pipe smoker! Lord bless you! I need to relocate!
Enjoy the teaching...have you ever thought about uploading some of your sermons for others to watch? I know I would enjoy them.
