This was such a bad call. "Prince Thou Art"? LOL - keeps calling Foolish Pleasure as Prince Thou Art, though he was easy to see the whole stretch and then finally at the last stride calls him Foolish Pleasure.
Fascinating race though - all the incidents. Whatever happened to the gray, Rushing Man (I know he survived)? He seemed to break down after tripping with another horse.
I wasn't Miss America but I was in the state pageant years ago. My Uncle John past away,,, That was his hobby. We don't have anyone else who's racing in the family that I know of. :) I only show dogs. Afghan Hounds...there almost the size of a small race horse. LOL
Can't wait till the Saratoga sale.... Jolly is like 84 now but he is still training and I have a date!!

At 1:07 you can see a flash of silver and then the jockey on Bombay Duck look back. That flash was an idiot throwing a full beer can at the feild!

@theOlLineRebel According to DRF data, RUSHING MAN raced well into 1977.
At least we wasn't running in 4000 claiming races the way NAPOISE (14th, 1972 Derby) was by the following February.
