It took me a while to try and find the name of this toy. I can still remember the night my older brother went out to get me one. For some reason I really wanted the poodle, but I ended up with the brown one. However, I grew to love him. I think his name was Duke or something. I lost Duke when my house flooded and I had to throw away a ton of my childhood toys. (It was a toy funeral!) I'm 26 now and I still kinda want the poodle. Thanks for posting!!
I had one of those as a kid. I had the third one in line at the end of the commercial. Found it in some old boxes a few months back and gave it to my nephew. He loves it too.
i have all of them including the super pooch patrols and the baby ones i even have the glow in the dark ones my fave was midnight they i didn't name them they came with names certificates and a dog house
I still have the one that scared away the kissing aunt. I named him Butch when I was a kid and now he has been passed down to my 2 year old son. He loves Butch!
Wow I remember this commercial from Saturday Morning cartoons when I was a kid. I'm 24 now and I still remember the names so weird. I had Floppy the brown one with longs ears and my sisters and brother have the other three. I also had a mini version of Floppy, this brings back so many memories! I got them for Christmas '90,
I still have my pooch patrol from when i was a baby. My mother got the gray one (the one the kid uses on granny) My mom got him as a gift for her baby shower with me and His name's Spike (seriously, his tag said "hello, my name's spike") and I had a dog as a baby & growing up named Spike (coincidentally!) so he has sentimental value. I'm 26 now and i LOVE him SSSOOO much, I will take him with me to my grave!!
