Wow. I'm sad but also kind of relieved to hear that you werent that close to God in high school and you still got your footing figured and and came back to Christ. I dont even remember what I was doing the other day but I just got this thirst for God after like 5 years of emptiness and just decided this is right. If you read the bible you will know that what you DO doesn't matter when it comes to how you do things. Here is a good lesson taught by Jesus. Matthew 15 It does not matter how you pray and it matters on how you mean it and if it comes from your heart.
So, you are saying doing something physically is better than doing something from the heart and spirit? So God would be more pleased that you are on your hands and knees than rather from the heart. Tradition vs Spirtuality. Hmmm Bowing down seems like tradition to me.
we pray. that is all that matters. tel me, why does it matter HOW you physically pray? do you think God would condemn you because you didn't get on your hands and knees when you prayed to him?
