  • Hey man great film! Best I've seen on Youtube! At one point it actually looks like this is not an HV and even had my girlfriend asking me what movie I was watching like this was filmed with a major budget! Lol. I myself am using an HV20 for music videos primarily and am ordering a Jag35pro this week with a Canon FD 50mm f1.4. Would u mind if I contact you for some tips throughout the near future? Thanks in advance! 5 STARS GREAT JOB!

  • This was GREAT! Filmmaking was amazing, angles, cinematography, lighting and everything! Great work, check out some of our films. We also use a Jag35 (static) and hv20. Something abouthis made it look a lot more filmlike than many other stuff i've seen. What lens was used?

  • thanks for your great comments. i used a canon fd 50mm lens. the daytime shots where there was a lot of natural light helped to bring out a lot of color. the indoor night time shots introduced a lot of grain, but i think that somewhat added to the film look. one other thing i did that was to use a 2.35.1 cinema scope matte. this gave it a wider aspect ratio than your typical 16:9. this was just a .tga file on the top layer of my editing timeline. thanks again for the feedback. ~jake

  • how did you capture the audio so clearly? I need a vibrating adapter haha, the Jag35ST's GG does not vibrate and makes the grain visible everywhere.

  • We used a SennHeiser ME-67 for the audio.
