i remember reading a preview for this game in an old issue of Gamefan.. i believe it was Takuhi or Nick Rox who said "well, if you're going to imitate, do it from the best". only two planes to switch between and no combo-chain system? some imitation.

Even though it's not as good as Guardian Heroes, it's still a VERY fun game that, unfortunately, didn't get the attention it deserved (I think the game's ISO is still available for download on eMule).

I once played the Playstation version and thought it was really enjoyable. If you love 2D graphics you've got to buy it anyway.
