  • i would like to see your Reagan "greatest mistake as President" source. I agree with it and would like to see where you get your information

  • Correction @ 1:40

The Invasion of Grenada lasted for two months not two days. Also they forgot to mention that Clinton also sent troops to Haiti back in 1994 and in Bosnia for a peacekeeping mission (not just the air campaigns).

  • anyone else tired of how pissy Andy Levy's been about Ron Paul?

  • Reagan was good for the time he was in But Paul is the best for our time.

  • I like this perspective. IF reagan had been on duty (responsible for national security) when 3k murdered on OUR soil. would he just say "well,... we probably invited the attack"? I think he was very rational when it came to intervention. and respect him for that. but i don't believe he was a pacifist.. but good entery

  • @Gravy5150 To a certain extent we did invite the attack. However, Ron Paul voted to go after Osama Bin Laden. I don't understand your point

  • Hey maybe we could replace the soundtrack in Jack's videos with blah blah blah Ron Paul excites my...

  • We need to spread this video far and wide folks!!!

  • We need to spread this video far and wide folks!!!

  • Ron Paul has never lost any debate, any argument.

He is an intelligent politician who believes in freedom.

    Ron Paul 2012

  • The Reagan worship by all you Conservatives/Libertarians is down right sickening. You folks treat this man like he is God himself.

  • I was in the Army during Granada, stationed in Germany - Granada lasted longer than 2 days. I don't recall exactly how long we were over there, but it was definitely longer than 2 days.

  • @Ralyns well, maybe the actual attacks were only about 2 days... but I'm thinking they were actually deployed about a week.

  • Interesting points. Thanks, Jack.

  • Someone needed to find this. Someone should put together a video collage called "Ronald Reagan: RINO". :p

  • This kind of reminds me of the irony of the Democratic Party readily claiming Jefferson as its Founder....

  • Note how Republicans call themselves "The Party of Lincoln" or "The Party of Reagan." Never "The Party of George W. Bush."

  • Too many faux-conservatives use Reagan s' name to validate their chicken-hawk machismo. Fools like Bush, McCain, and Obama would have our troops fight in a burning house for the sake of political expediency.

  • @LordSparkisvati Who is pretending it didn't happen? Reagan himself, as stated in this video, said it was a mistake. That's not pretending it didn't happen.

  • If I hear one more time that Dr. Ron Paul is an isolationist one more time I am going to start the real revolution.

  • good vid. thanks.

  • The only problem with this video is that it is intelligent, well stated, takes contextual knowledge and is longer than 30 seconds, so the majority of Americans want nothing to do with it.

  • @jmboyle21

    ~hilarious and true

  • @dirtbagstatus, Because Ohbummer is far more dangerous to America than any other candidate running. Don't be a Moron, Ohbummer hates our country and wants nothing more than it's destruction !

  • Jimmy Carter's Iran Hostage Crisis lasted 444 days and ended within hours of Reagan's inauguration. Iran is holding Americans today, has sentenced them to 8 years in prison, and Obama has not done a damn thing about it. Neither would Ron Paul. Ron Paul is NO Ronald Reagan.

  • @VailPatriot We started the war with Iran.

  • Ron Paul says Iran should be allowed to obtain nuclear weapons and that if Iran used them on Israel the US should not respond. For me this proves Ron Paul is a dangerous and stupid old fool.

  • @VailPatriot With a name like that I would not accuse you of being a genius.

  • Ron Paul says he would not have authorized the mission that led to the death of Osama bin Laden, and that President Barack Obama should have worked with the Pakistani government instead of authorizing a raid. This prompts one to question Ron Paul’s mental capacity; is he that gullible, stupid or just senile?

  • @VailPatriot You are sadly misinformed - he said he would not have ordered a hit and he would have wanted him alive for questioning and war crimes trial.

  • I to would love to see Ron Paul win the Presidency.

But the Republican Establishment, who are in with the world power elites, will put forward a Mitt Romney. and what I'm afraid may happen is this,

    Obama 47%

    Mitt Romney 33%

    Ron Paul 20%

that would be a nightmare Ladies and Gentlemen.

    0_0 >:/

  • My biggest fear, is that Ron Paul will do to the Republican party what Ross Perot did to the election in 1992. basically, the Presidency was handed to Clinton because of Ross Perot's 20% of the American people's vote.

  • @usaSAVAGE How is that a fear of yours when regardless of which party gets in office nothing ever changes. If a status quo politician gets in office(Obama,Perry,Romney, etc.) we will have more wars, more deficits, more bribing those in the present at the expense of the unborn. Welcome to Democracy where those who are misled keep the system going.

  • That Jack Hunter... bright young lad he is... got a future in this business...

  • Why is the comparison always to Hitler? Couldn't someone who is a bad guy be Stalin or Pol Pot or somebody like that. No it is always AH. I'm sure Jewish influence on the country has nothing to do with that.

  • 0 neocons watched this video!

  • @southernavenger

Whatever happen to The American Conservative? You still write a column for them or what?

  • Reagan was not a great man or president. He waged war on Americans with the drug war. Rather than treating them as fellow humans this fool beleive if he imprisoned enough people, that one day the country would be drug free. The damage has been irmeasurable. The hypocrisy, after years of making tons of money from tabacoo companies, from pushing their poison. Tabacco, which kills more than more people each year than alcohol, AIDS, car accidents, illegal drugs, murders, and suicides combined.

  • @htodd74 Yes, the drug war was a mistake of president Reagan's and every president who was to follow. Understandably, many people in neighborhoods where drugs were prevalent were strong proponents of Reagan's policy. At the time many of them thought Reagan was doing the right thing by listening to their cries for action on the drug problem. But, in hind sight the drug war has been a failure, just like prohibition of alcohol was.

  • Reagan was largely a right leaning libertarian, but he realized that in order to make things work in government, he had to work with other people. Unfortunately, he gave in too much to corporations and to the Democratic congress that wanted massive spending. In fairness, the arms race that cost so much money was largely responsible for the fall of the Soviets.

  • Reminder : If you are a disillusioned Dem or unaffiliated, and you live in one of 18 or more closed primary states , U will not be able to vote Ron Paul in the critical primary! Some states are : AZ,CT,CO,DE,FL,OR,OK,NE,NC,SD,UT,NY,PA,LA,KY,WV,DC, AND MORE .Do not be cheated out of a vote, don;t cheat Ron Paul out of the nomination

  • this is either a rerun or a darn close retread. Jack must be busy before the elections this November. Aren't we all.

  • Ronald Reagan wasn't a good President and he was far closer to being Neo Conservative than Jack likes to admit.

  • Where have you been Southern Avenger?

  • i think Reagen tried to do the best he could during his time.

  • @sharinganclan213 I agree. Reagen had to deal with a Democrat congress and a hostile press.

  • Ron Paul is the new Reagan. Rick Perry is the new George W. Bush. Take your pick.

  • @southernavenger Very cohesive analysis of Reagan foreign policy and parallels to Ron Paul. Thanks!

  • Very well said, but I still think that Iran is different.

Unlike countries which the US had previous disputes with, Iran despises the idea of peace and openly calls for a worldwide bloodbath.

If you sit around and wait for them to develop nukes, hoping that they'll see the error of their ways - we could all pay a very high price.

If the US pulls out of Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya, but torches a few Iranian nuke sites on their way home - I think that would be a good compromise.

  • @LibertyDownUnder ...We spend more then the rest of the world combined on our "world wide footprint", aggressively expanded in the last 20 years, and now? US Social Security --- UNSALVAGEABLE. Medicare --- UNSALVAGEABLE. Medicaid --- UNSALVAGEABLE. Wallstreet --- UNSAVEABLE. Basic Domestic Services --- MASSIVE LAYOFFS AND FIRINGS. The United States Federal Reserve Note --- UNSALVAGEABLE. We're going to pay the highest price, and it has nothing to do with nukes, moron.

  • @LibertyDownUnder Not that the Iranian regime is benevolent but according to CIA analysis, Iran has zero nukes and it takes a long time just to make a few, whereas, Israel has around 300 nukes. I don't think there is a clear an present danger in Iran or anywhere for that matter in the Middle East or Northern Africa. Additionally, I think it is presumptuous to say that Iran despises peace, that would be insanity. The US would crush Iran if they got out of line.

  • @watertonrivers, Wikileaks has shown than the Arab leaders in the region are very concerned about the Iranian nukes.

The Iranian people may not want a nuclear war, but their leaders are nuts and they are already fighting a proxy war using surrogates. Sitting around and waiting for them to develop nukes, knowing what they're doing is too risky.

Many others who are completely against any other conflict are also saying this about Iran, including Thomas Sowell.

  • @LibertyDownUnder

One country has used nukes the USA.

If Iran were to aquire nukes they would use them vs Isreal not the US, since they don't have missles or airforce to bring them to us. So if we accept the war to protect isreal why do they not pay us for it. We have American soliders dieing for Isreal, we are spending US tax dollars on protecting Isreal. I'm sorry but I do not work to protect Isreal. We are in debt and going bankrupt for Isreal.

  • @PwnFaust, this has nothing to do with Israel. Most Arab leaders couldn't care less about a few Palestinian farmers' rights. They only use Israel as some tool to rally up their own crowds, and gain support.

The Arabs in the region hate each other. If you read about what Syria did (and does) to Lebanon, and what the Iran/Iraq war entailed - it makes the Israel conflict look like Disneyland.

The Iranians are fanatical, and the details of this threat aren't discussed in the mainstream media.

  • @LibertyDownUnder The facts are if Iran gets Nukes it will kill other Arabs or Jews in Isreal, not the US. Now there would be a problem with background radation. (Even though Fukisima is giving us plenty and most media ignores that.) The truth is we should not be over in the middle east. I work and my tax dollars are going to fighting wars and giving countries aid. If I want to make a donation to a charity so be it. But for the US goverment to take my money to protect a non US citzen is wrong

  • @PwnFaust, well since they refer to the US as the "Great Satan" and sponsor many of the activities killing soldiers in Iraq - I think it is naive to assume they don'y have any plans to attack Americans. They use surrogates so the media does not link the leaders to the sponsors,

Just about every country in Europe is suffering from Radical Islam, an most US jails are used to spread it too. It won't take that much to get a nuke delivered anywhere in the world.

  • @LibertyDownUnder If we stop wars in Iraq, Lybia and Afganistan. Have those troops secure are borders, and use are drones to protect us. Have are CIA work on protecting us instead of over throwing dictators, we could protect ourselfs. Or we could go broke fighting endless wars, and killing more soliders than civilians that dies from 9/11. As far as jails if we de-criminalize drugs that will make them less crowded and give cops more time to protect and serve. And ask yourself why call us satan?

  • @PwnFaust, well I agree with what you said here, I just think too many people think that being peaceful towards the Iranians won't do much good.

  • @LibertyDownUnder

So you support the immediate invasion of North Korea then in order to disarm them?

  • @17Spartacus76, chalk and cheese.

The North Koreans don't breed martyrdom & hatred into their kids. Give them 10 years of freedom, and they will be back to normal.

  • @LibertyDownUnder

Lol, you seriously believe they don't breed hatred in to their kids?? How do you think the regime is able to stay in power? Don't be so naive and bigoted.

  • @17Spartacus76, they do so by force as far as I know. But I haven't researched this much.

And there's no need for insults.

  • @LibertyDownUnder

There's no need for warmongering based on irrational fears either. All the intelligence experts on Iran have said that Iran's a decade away from having a bomb, and even with one is not a threat.

    Google "Operation Ajax"

  • @17Spartacus76, well many think otherwise about their progress. I don't pretend to have access to all the required intelligence data, but there is a reason why there is so much discussion on this both in the media and behind closed doors.

But you are right, it doesn't seem like something that will be a threat in the immediate future.

  • @LibertyDownUnder

It doesn't matter what the talking heads on TV say. Every objective piece of evidence proves they're lying. No need to give them any credence whatsoever. The US administration has been fomenting war with Iran for decades. Hell, they launched a proxy war with them using Saddam back in the 80's.

The idea that Iran is a threat is a bad joke to those in the know.

  • @17Spartacus76, well I disagree and so do many others.

Even Wikileaks verified that there is genuine concern by many leaders. You can see it for yourself if you Google: "Saudi king urged U.S. to attack Iran: WikiLeaks"

  • @LibertyDownUnder

Saudi's are predominantly Sunni, Iranians Shia. Those two sects have been killing each other for centuries for any reason they could think of.

So the Saudis spouting the same crap as US politicians is hardly a surprise, and no reason to believe them. This doesn't support your view, only shows that you'll believe anything that confirms your prejudices.

  • @17Spartacus76, they all hate each other in that region. This doesn't mean that we should dismiss any warnings from them, but I see your point.

  • and, Im not exaggerating here, Ron Paul just might be God

  • @BigDaddyDJD i wouldnt go that far but the Man certainly gets my vote

  • Reagan was not perfect. But in his heart he was right, even if he did give in too much to the machine

  • @BigDaddyDJD "But in his heart he was right" This can be said about GWB, Obama and OBL. This video seems to be an irony about the tyranny of Reagan specially in secret operations in ME and Latin America.

  • @BigDaddyDJD You have a revisionist view. Reagan was the ideological grand daddy of Bush and Romney

  • RON PAUL2012!Anything else would be the same as an Obama vote,period....
