  • I guess you're right. Solidworks only lists Quadro as certified hardware. Didnt find a similar list on Alias site, but I guess that is a start. Well, jumping in to Rhino, so. Thanks for your atention, man !

  • You did a lot of movements too fast and without talking about them. I`ve found other tutorials for Alias even worse, besides fast moves, the teacher speaks some kinf of indian english that I cannot understand. Could you make a tutorial on Alias from scratch to shape a very simple car ? Would be nice if you talk about CTRL+SHIFT popup menu and how to leave a tool and pick another. Mic on table is noisy while typing, but thats ok.

  • @Christomb Thank you for the helpful input, I will make an effort to slow down my mouse movements in future tutorials. I was going to make a full automotive tutorial, but I was unable to land this job I was hoping for, so no I am preoccupied with seeking employment. I am sure you understand :) Practice is what will make you better though.

  • @Alias828 Yeah I understand. I wish I have more time to learn 3D programs as well. By now I`m stuck in shading. I`ve searched thje web and looks like there a bug in shading in Alias Automotive 2012. I have i7-870, 16Gb RAM and GTX 560 SC as GPU. The bug is that the shading doesn`t appears. I select a surface then click on that pale blue thing on the right panel, but nothing hapens. As I`m a novice, I don`t know if it`s really a bug or it`s me doing something wrong. Thanks by the way !

  • @Christomb Sounds like a Nvidea issue.
