A good example is the "German pancake," which is a large popover generally made for breakfast, a popover typically topped with butter, powdered sugar, and jam. Tasty, super-cheap, and simple to make.

@OrderlyDeity It's pastry with any kind of filling in it. You dollop on the filling then 'pop over' the other side of the pastry square.
