As a Kansas fan people need to give respect to UNC. They have 5 national titles to our 3. UNC gave Kansas Brown and Roy. Dean played and learned under Dr. Allen at KU and coached UNC to to 2 titles and 800w's. My fanbase (atleast here) likes to act like they are 20x the program that UNC is. Coach Williams is NOT overrated. He can recruit way better in the ACC. This was a great victory and title afterwards. Happiest i've been since 88. Lets hope we can meet UNC again...in the Final Four.

Nice family tree of coaches you put up there but it proves nothing except reeally good coaches want to KU as players. UNC success is self made and on our own not to mention our school is the easiest to recruit for and as we both know players win games ultimately not coaches.

yes...to some extent...but without discipline, the team goes bad...many teams have had all the talent in the world, but are stupid, and don't play with discipline...look at Tom Coughlin with the NY Giants...wah, wah, he's so strict and mean...ya, Super Bowl champs, because he has tough training camps...UNC is good this year, because everyone came back...KU lost Julian Wright, and still won it...and kicked UNC's ass..UNC and UCONN are the two most talented from what I see, and their coaches rock

You really made it seem like you were thinking UNC was better last year...I thought KU had a chance, but I didn't think the spread would be that much...UNC has had a couple hiccups, but it's better to do that earlier than later..I am an ACC guy, and try to take up for ACC teams as much as possible, because I love FSU, but idk how it will end up...if I had to guess, I would say UNC, UCONN, Pitt, or Syracuse win it...KU was overdue I thought..lol..after all those years comin up short haha...ttyl
