  • i like the wikireader but i wouldnt use it while exploring something new .... it would rob me of stimuli ....

  • Yes you can update the WikiReader. It's a touchscreen. There's a card reader inside that, in addition to storing and serving up Wikipedia can hold and deliver over 33,000 digital books from Project Gutenberg. No phone connection needed! It's all stored inside on the WikiReader.

  • A 3g Kindle web browser could work without raising a phone bill. What type of screen is that? Is there a card reader,a browser? Can you use PDFs or even update the Wikepedia files. I guess I have to find another video.

  • @PTPspdy29 A smart phone is definitely a better choice if coverage and battery life are not your concerns. 3.5'' LCD b/w screen, not e ink. Don't think it's designed to read PDF but you might be able to do it.

  • OMG!!! ITS HAPPENED!

THE HITCHHIKER's GUIDE TO THE GAXALY!!! :OOOO

  • The worlds largest encyclopedia for a hundred bucks? One that dosen't need the internet and can be updated every year? *did my research** ... and it fits in my pocket? Not such a bad idea!

  • @0117Killer1 Its only 70 bucks at future shop, paper encyclopedias of that compacity would cost millions!!

  • That is nice to have an encyclopedia in my pocket for only $99.
