Very impressive playing. Judging by this and by some of your old videos from the 80s, you seem to be a performing pianist as a career. I'm a college student studying music composition right now, and I want to make a life for myself around music. How has a career in music been for you so far?
Actually, I am a very serious amateur pianist and I would love to have a career in music, but ended up following a career in engineering and stayed as an amateur in music. Perhaps mainly because of practical economical reasons. I mean for a succesful music career one must really be good, talented etc. with a lot luck too!

@Hakkithepianist Wow! You're easily the best "amateur" pianist I've ever heard. There's nothing amateur about your playing. I bet you coulda made it in music alone! Maybe. It does take a lot of luck...
Hello Hakki,
great playing ! I've just started to practise this piece and realise how hard it is.
I'm having trouble figuring out the best fingering for the left hand.
E.g., in the first bar....f1 - hflat2 - d3 and which finger for e ?

@Ilike2tubeittubeit
Thanks.
I am using 5 on e. But fingering is very subjective and individual.
For the complete fingering starting with hflat.
5-3-2-1-5-4-12-3-4-1-2-3
Hope this helps and good luck with this piece.
