this is crazy. the ghost was actually infront of the locker,but it was side ways looking at them. that is how the number 2 shows up on the upper arm of the ghost. it was looking up until the camera came around, then it put its head down.
Actually, I worked for this Hotel, it is in Eureka Springs, Ar. Ever since I worked there, all I heard was about the ghost there, and room 218 being the room Dr. Baker used to deal with patients...That is an actual locker there and no way anyone could set that up..what you see is very real!

Regardless of what they are saying, it's a reflection. It's Grant holding the camera, and looking it. YOu can see that the "apparition" has it's arm raised as if holding a handheld device, just like Grant is doing. It's a reflection, and regardless of them trying "twice", that's what it is. If they really thought it was something and disappeared, they had no reason not to turn the lights on and investigate at that point.

What I find so unbelievable is how people commenting here feel the need to insult each other because they simply do or don't believe. Why is it beginning to feel that a person who can express themselves without insulting is even more of a rare find than a ghost?
The only suggestion I can come up with (and I know nothing about thermal cameras, so it probably makes no sense) is if someone was standing in that spot for a prolonged amount of time, but that doesn't explain it's apparent movement of distinct figure...

I watched this on tv. It was pretty cool for especially since I am from Arkansas. The 2 was painted on and there was no reason they could find that it was hot. If you put your hand over the 2 and then removed it, the heat from your hand would show up. It's quiet fasinating that 99% of things can be debunked, but 1% is unexplainable.

O.k. SO why is the apparition registering at body temperature on the shoulder that is closest to the thermal cam? Isn't that impossible? If I held a material in front of myself, then put the thermal cam on, you would see the same thing.

Can you explain to me how the energy source determines the type of entity it is? Or how different entities draw from different energy sources?

i went to the crescent hotel this past friday. we looked around and took some pictures. had one questionable picture, but i'm not sure. anyway, my dad locked his keys in the car, so we stayed at the crescent for an hour and a half. it's a cool place to go. the rooms are expensive (for me at least). my mum said that if she has enough money, then we may spend the night there or go on the ghost tour for my graduation. they even had ghost souvenirs(sp?). so excited!

This place is known for it's paranormal activities. I live in Oklahoma and Eureka Springs, Arkansas (Where the hotel is located) is about 2 hours from me. My husband and I went there for our honeymoon and we went to the Crescent to check it out for ourselves and let me tell you, as soon as you drive up to the bldg, and walk thru the doors you automatically get the feeling that something is definitely there. they tried to recreate it and they couldnt do it. they tried to get a reflection off of it and could not do it. if you look closely ther are shoulerd patches and a rifle as well as a millitary issue cap from the 40s and a deffinte outline of a chin backing up to it would not have caused that.
I dont know if he was looking at the floor or if he was focusing in on them...threat like...that dipping of the head would be present in such a situation...notice then eyes up/head down as it focused on them...that seemed more like a challenge to me. even if you account for zoom etc in the color change and shadow on head,the head definitely moved which cancels out the liklihood that its a heat imprint...heat registers as orange-red too

The issue is...there is really no way for anyone to prove or disprove what these guys do. I'm a skeptic, but a skeptic in both directions. Just because you can reproduce something, doesn't mean it IS fake. It simply means there's a chance it could be fake. Remember we can only perceive three dimensions. Beyond this is really a mystery. However, I too think that what this show purports is just too convenient to be real. Though im not sure of this.

Steve was right. People are STILL picking this video apart. It's an interesting catch. I hope they'll re-analyze the video some time in the future again (If they havent disproven this already) with different technology.
What I find so unbelievable is how people commenting here feel the need to insult each other because they simply do or don't believe. Why is it beginning to feel that a person who can express themselves without insulting is even more of a rare find than a ghost?

Wow this one is really strange.
The only suggestion I can come up with (and I know nothing about thermal cameras, so it probably makes no sense) is if someone was standing in that spot for a prolonged amount of time, but that doesn't explain it's apparent movement of distinct figure...
I love it!
I trust TAPS with their investigations so this looks like some pretty convincing evidence. :)

I watched this on tv. It was pretty cool for especially since I am from Arkansas. The 2 was painted on and there was no reason they could find that it was hot. If you put your hand over the 2 and then removed it, the heat from your hand would show up. It's quiet fasinating that 99% of things can be debunked, but 1% is unexplainable.

A Thermal Imaging Camera doesn't read ambient temperature in a room, but surface temperature of whatever the device is aimed at.

O.k. SO why is the apparition registering at body temperature on the shoulder that is closest to the thermal cam? Isn't that impossible? If I held a material in front of myself, then put the thermal cam on, you would see the same thing.

An apparition doesn't necessarily have to be cold.
Other than that no answer for you
But a person wouldn't be cold in just one place, they would have a temperature all over

Hmm...the figure is turned sideways and the closest part of the body near the cam is hot and the temp decreases as it gwts further away from the cam-looks fishy to me.

It doesant to me. Cos if you look at how the thermal cam seems actual people... they are red on their faces and hands... and are a wider spectrum of colours. He is hot on his arm where [if you read some of the comments] people used to wear their civil war patches. And the same temperature everywhere else on his body, which no person ever is.

This is a person, not a ghost! Can you show me a civil war patch that looks like a 2? People do not have that kind of body temperature variation. In fact, no single object, living thing, or animal does. If it does, I'd like for you to prove it to me. -not 20+degrees.

Here's an answer for you. As they have explained on various occassions, apparitions can appear as either hot or cold depending on what kind of energy it draws on to form itself and also depending on what kind of spirit or entity it is.

No, I don't think so. It doesn't matter what kind of energy it draws from. An entity still has no blood, no tisse, no metabolism and can therefore generate no heat. Can you explain to me how the energy source determines the type of entity it is? Or how different entities draw from different energy sources?

Ok, I acknowledge the two as being heated - but honestly, what would heat a locker and why is there a figure that doesn't look like the guys? Why couldn't it be recreated? Why does it just fade away? I trust these guys, they bust twice as much as they prove - ever seen the episode with the Blue Lady ghost?

i went to the crescent hotel this past friday. we looked around and took some pictures. had one questionable picture, but i'm not sure. anyway, my dad locked his keys in the car, so we stayed at the crescent for an hour and a half. it's a cool place to go. the rooms are expensive (for me at least). my mum said that if she has enough money, then we may spend the night there or go on the ghost tour for my graduation. they even had ghost souvenirs(sp?). so excited!

the same thing happend to my friends aunt!! she put her credit card on her the side table and her earings and they both ended up in the trash.and through the night no matter were i fell asleep i always looked up at the far window. and my friend stayed in a room were suposedly a man walks out of the mirror. she didnt see anything tho. but in every pic there was an orb

Yeah, look to the right, he's holding something, maybe a rifle? Maybe a mop? Maybe he was the janitor. But the hot '2' shows up right on his shoulder, exactly where a unit patch would have been on a soldier's uniform. Wonder if any patches from back then looked anything like a '2'.

The actual hotel "rooms" are even creepy. My husband is always teasing me and trying to get us to spend the night there and I was like um..HELL NO! But if you all want more history and information on this hotel, put in a search for "crescent hotel" on google and it will give you a direct link to thier website. They give "Ghost Tours" as well of this place. Eureka Springs in general has serverl different "haunted" places there. It's an extremely hold town....fascinating indeed...

This place is known for it's paranormal activities. I live in Oklahoma and Eureka Springs, Arkansas (Where the hotel is located) is about 2 hours from me. My husband and I went there for our honeymoon and we went to the Crescent to check it out for ourselves and let me tell you, as soon as you drive up to the bldg, and walk thru the doors you automatically get the feeling that something is definitely there. I took some photos and had a bunch of orbs in them. Very mysterious place. I LOVE IT!

they tried to recreate it and they couldnt do it. they tried to get a reflection off of it and could not do it. if you look closely ther are shoulerd patches and a rifle as well as a millitary issue cap from the 40s and a deffinte outline of a chin backing up to it would not have caused that.

I dont know if he was looking at the floor or if he was focusing in on them...threat like...that dipping of the head would be present in such a situation...notice then eyes up/head down as it focused on them...that seemed more like a challenge to me. even if you account for zoom etc in the color change and shadow on head,the head definitely moved which cancels out the liklihood that its a heat imprint...heat registers as orange-red too

The issue is...there is really no way for anyone to prove or disprove what these guys do. I'm a skeptic, but a skeptic in both directions. Just because you can reproduce something, doesn't mean it IS fake. It simply means there's a chance it could be fake. Remember we can only perceive three dimensions. Beyond this is really a mystery. However, I too think that what this show purports is just too convenient to be real. Though im not sure of this.
