I've used both an L1 - 1 system and currently a Solo Amp, I found the Bose to be very bright and tinny, where the fishman has a much flatter frequency response. I play acoustic guitar and sax through the Solo amp and prefer it over the Bose. Some people like the "slap in the face" high end the Bose has, but for sax I found it heavily colored my sound in a bad way. I kept the Soloamp and sold the L1, no regrets.
I saw the other video in which they used the Bose L1 compact. I like to know what amp in better for a live performance the Fishman or the Bose. I gig with my guitar 3 times a week and I like to go fishman or bose. Please tell me your opinion.
