@pen1510ve i had a husky, and she only howled when she heard the intercom ring. i did teach her to bark on command. she wouldnt bark on her own though, unless she was VERY excited. some huskies vocalize and some don't, it doesn't necessarily mean she's "broken". does she seem shy/not playful/easily frightened?

Reward her for trying and get excited when she's anywhere close, Give treats along the way.Give your dog the smaller treats because she'll end up eating a ton of them.Good luck and have fun.
