I'd just like to note a few of the things that may have contributed to the 'prettier' women of today besides beauty dna: They might be less circumstances of inbreeding, cosmetics, better disease control (less black plague) , cosmetic surgery, hair dye, exfoliation, unwanted hair removal, better diets, more time for exercise, more attractive clothing, cameras rather than paintings of individuals and a changing idea about what beauty is.
I dont believe this at all I think they have become uglier since even the 90's At least the role models the media uses as standards Beauty queens of previous years were Claudia Schiffer and Nadja Auermann Today we have much shorter skinnier women who maybe look good on a cover but would pass unnoticed in a crowd and i'm afraid that even Jolie is on this category not to mention the Emma Watsons or the Kristen Stewards of this world The target group is insecure girls in their early teen years
