  • gators taste good . :D

  • GATORS TASTE GOOD

  • Me and a .50 cal gun !

  • Im saying that the term "instinctive fear of humans" came into use because people startle animals and they often run--which gave rise to the term.. In actuality they will run from anything. Therefore that term has been deeply analyzed for decades in the scientific community and rarely used anymore...Fear is an animal taking in information and quickly coming to somekind of conclusion --which likely is to freak out and run if they have doubts. facts dont show "an instinctive fear of humans"

  • Im saying that the term "instinctive fear of humans" is not used correctly. If a goat were placed in a canoe with a camera aparatus set up on it--and floated down a river in an area where gators usually did not see that--they would freak out and splash into the water. No gator has ever viewed a human and said 'thats a human im afraid of them". If you hang out long enough in sight--the gator will evenually get over being freaked out--- and move in and eat you on the spot if you are small...

  • Is this @ the Everglades Alligator Farm.

  • i been here man this was one of the best experience i ever had

  • i hate seeing these alligators in zoos. at least here they have more room than some places in the world. I kid you not at one zoo in the uk i saw this poor crocodile fully grown in a enclosure not much bigger than a bath tub. it was really sickening to see

  • lol it looks like the alligators are all at the zoo to see the humans

  • This is so cool

  • happy happy...

  • If I was there I'd run and jump head first into the pool of alligators, that's how tough I am.

  • @Vektruscen I'd pay $50 to see that... after the performance. Tough, huh? HAAAAA!! I'd give you $500 to jump in the pool of just one, one of the bull gators I know.

Come on down to Green Swamp, NE of Tampa. Tiny's up for it, so's PeeWee, Shadow, Godzilla, T.Rex, Spooky and several others. Don't fret none, as they're all under 20 ft long, I'm not sayin' by how much. But after all, that's how tough you are, right?

Again, you get paid in full AFTER the performance.

  • @Inquisitor53 who are u talking to?? u keep typing longggg ass paragraphs but i dont see anyone talking to u.........are u lonely? lol

  • @lockUdown97 1. Need a hint? Have you noticed the monikers that start at the beginning of my posts? That's the usual clue.

    2. Those that don't usually means I'm passing on my in-depth knowledge of alligators to those wanting such information & apparently a lot of people do, according the responses I'm receiving on my channel.

  • lol ok

  • @lockUdown97 Let me know if you ever want to go on a canoe tour where you can see some gators in the wild a whole lot bigger than these close up. You won't be disappointed. Being in the wilderness they're not accustom to having humans around so they still instinctively fear humans, except during mating season of course. They're a bit testy with all those hormones pumped up in their system, but once that's over they're back to being their shy selves again. Just don't fall out of the canoe.

  • @Inquisitor53 Animals and gators do not have an instinctive fear of humans. Thats a misnomer. They only have a fear of something messing around that is not in their world that catchs them off guard. If humans were the size of a small dog walking along they would analyze----then eat you on sight with no instinctive fear as they swallowed. If i was mowing the lawn and a martian appeared and approached me I would run--but not because it was born into me to be afraid of martians themselves

  • @phantomvibrationsX True but I'm no small dog.

There's also a behavour difference between gators in the primative wilds vs. those in urban areas. In urban areas they've grown accustomed to the sight, sound & smell of humans. I would never trust an urban gator.

I have however, swam in the same section of isolated creeks where big gators were present (In my youth. I'm a little wiser now) and I've still all my extremeties. I must be doing something right.

  • @phantomvibrationsX I'm back. Are you saying fear itself is not an instinct?

  • the tour guid is a doucher. i wonder how they make sure every gator is fed. there is so many in one place

  • You can see eovultion hasn't much evolved since the prehistoric ages just by looking at alligators -_-

  • They're basically dinosaurs

  • i dont get the facination of getting close to shit that can eat you

  • I do it almost every day and there is no fence between me and the big gators. How big? Longer than my 16' 9" canoe. I've had them as close as six feet. I even sleep around them but I know of a tuber that will make the biggest gators stay at least 25 ft. from my camp. It's good to know these things when you live around the big ones...

  • can i have the exact address of this place i live in miami

  • OMG! THERES A BUNCH OF THEM!

  • im going to the evrglds today so now i know about them aligatrs

  • What did a guy throw?

at least I hope it is not alive animal

  • Everyone loves alligators!

  • where in florida is this

  • Homestead Florida Southwest of Miami.

  • @smy53190 my back yard!

  • skinnyFLA i dont want to cause a problem but if you are from the florida swamps why are you on the computer.i mean people who live in the outdoor swamps do not go on the computer

  • murvman: um... YES, we do! I live in the Florida swamps making a living as a canoe tour guide & Florida wilderness survival instructor and I'm on the net checking appointments of clientele, water levels, weather, etc...

I'm making money off of what I was taught as a child; foraging, wildcrafting, hunting, trapping, fishing, etc. The net has helped me go international and make money from people that wouldn't have heard of me if it were not for the internet.

So go easy with the stereotyping.

  • can i buy a baby alligator?

  • Not in Florida! Besides, what would you do with it when it got big enough to eat you? Turn it loose somewhere? It became a human-habituated gater the first time a human handles it & a big human-habituated gator WILL kill a human the first chance it gets. Due to their tiny brain the only association they make with it's owner is: Human = FOOD. If you forget to feed it when it's both big & hungry we'll read about you in the news. But if you insist, well...at least you were warned.

  • I would just let it go n the great lakes it would eat some carp.

  • That would kill the gator. Water's too cold. Remember this is a reptile. Gators being exo-thermic is the reason they live & thrive down here & not up there.

  • You sound intellectual............. but really boring

  • @SILLYCODS Boring? Keep your urbanized ignorant ass out of Florida. Heaven forbid you wind up lost in a swamp or along a beach, eat the wrong fruit or seek shelter from the rain under the wrong tree. It would mean an agonizing death within 48 hours. Meanwhile, to show you what a wonderful person I am, let me send you some manchineel apples. The aroma will make your mouth water and they taste even better than they smell! Very, very tasty!

  • he lucky there a fense

  • Im a Florida boy til I die, straight from the swamps!

  • i WANT To gO tO tHe eVeRgLAdes!

  • awesome

  • that alligator at 2:24 looks so cool.
