@vahedah they tend to compare her to sridevi, who no doubt was another tremendous actress, but madhuri is just as good... the thing that stands in sridevi's favour is her range of versatile roles that she's done... madhuri's done her share as well, but i personally feel sri made some better film choices......... this was an awesome film though, madhuri really got into her role

"they" are only sridevi fans, not general, you should read what critical review and comparison of them in movie magazine 1992 June wrote, and also what Indian express critic iqbal massod wrote in 1991.

No one has Madhuri's level of versatility, natural expression, voice, diction. But anyway, obviously a Sridevi fan will think otherwise.
