  • This might be useful in SPACE, provided the spacecraft rotates to create artificial gravity, via centrifugal force.

  • FUCK THE ENVIROMENT. I HOPE IT IS COMPLETELY DESTROYED. I will piss all over forest animals tomorrow just to make a point you queers.

  • I like the kitty!

  • u know why this vid got 400,000 views? becuase its got a cat in it.

  • Do you grow cannabis as well?

  • @TheColaCandy lol

  • I built one of these in the 90's and everyone used to tell me how stupid it was, people are fucking morons. I still stand by my claim of this pipe based hydro system as being one of the best out there.

  • @TheMuslimKiller saw your comments about the hydroponics system. I want to own one of those but, not sure where to get started. What would you suggest?

  • Congrats on getting so many views. How do you keep the mold from growing on the soil and if it does, how do you get rid of it?

  • Man u should cut the top parts of the pipes cause would be easier to mix the earth.

  • no weed ?

  • :D:D:D

  • Soo... wheres the weed?

  • To keep my cats out of the pots I use paper plates slit to the center and covering the soil. For other pots I use large rocks and/or cracked pecan (or other nut) shells which are very uncomfortable to dig in.

  • When I lived in a mobile home in the TX Hill Country I built an 8' x 32' covered porch on the south side of my home. In the winter I covered 2/3 of the porch (including putting plastic on the floor to cover the spaces between the 2" x 6" flooring boards) with 6 mil clear plastic. I then opened my living room windows for heat. I was able to grow food plants, maintain my numerous tropical plants and even added poinsettias and candles at Christmas time.

  • what is in those peat pots is not " dirt " it is soilless mix or sphagnum moss... it is composted then radiated to kill any organic matter , i am pretty sure that soilles mix is okay for water gardening so long as the nets are fine enough to not let the soilless mix into the resivoir, i stuck peat pots right into the holes in the aero garden and grew some mint and basil fine , but i would reccomend getting oiasis or rockwoll, you can get 1 inch cubes for around 20 cents each.

  • no sound

  • Why didn't you explain how it works no voice!

  • TALK!

  • What is the success and sustainability for this 'indoor garden'?

  • What kind of light do you use? :D

  • What kind of light do I use? I only got one south facing window. I can never get a straight answer about the lights.

  • I don't trust that cat . .

  • Can I multiply gardenias (or do you call it transplant)? I wanna make more gardenias in our backyard and so I'm wondering if I can cut a branch and plant it to make a new one. Does it work? Anyone please answer thank you.

  • What is the grow medium in the Styro cups? Looks like dirt

  • hey i was wondering, when u turn on the pump will it fill half the pvc? does the water touch the roots when you first put the plants on it? Im not getting how a plant with small roots will get the water. Will you have to root them enough to touch the bottom of the pvc?

  • come to cannabisknowledgedotcom for all your growin questions

  • Where is the sound? You should redo this with an audio explanation of what is on screen. Just a suggestion.

  • weres the pot plants at?

  • i know this is old, but the lights are too far away. nice setup though.

  • Audio ??Talk to us, we won't laugh :)

  • Is that soil in the hydroponics cups? rofl

if thats soil, you dont need the hydroponics. vice versa.

  • You can sprinkle cayenne pepper and chili powders.......or you could knock it in the head :)

  • Great looking garden, and cute kitty.

  • I'm new to growing inside. Will I need to back the light cycle back to 12/12 to get the tomatoes to flower? ty

  • this is kewl

  • I'm no pro but I think you want to put a lid on your water container for your hydro part of the Garden to keep the light out so you don't get algae thank you for sharing this is quiet an inspiring garden you've grown

  • No sound? How on earth can this video teach anything with no sound? I must be missing something.

  • @Praxxus55712 What? Is your sound on? I hear it, :)

    Beautiful music..

renovatedride youra star, Thank you for sharing, Please forgive the ones who know not better and the ones that think they know it all,

  • @Tewrobert One does not need to be an expert to know when there's no sound on a video. This video has zero sound on it. Apparently I'm not as high as you. :)

  • YOU DONT USE DIRT!!! IDIOT!

  • OK i'm confused, I thought Hydroponic's meet to grow without dirt?

  • Well I live in British Columbia so ya know, the Angels have the weed market covered. I'll make my millions one lettuce head at a time! I've taken the system apart but am working on a mini-greenhouse that will be half in and half out of the house, using residual heat from the house to keep things warm. I'll post when complete. Thanks for all the comments.

  • @renovatedride LOL@One head of lettuce at a time.

  • @renovatedride I live in Vancouver, and 1/2 my family are cops.. and I can tell ya the Angels have more competition than you think. Majority of the grows busted in the last 10 years have been Asian run.

I do like the setup though. If you're ever in Rona, they have 4"x4"x96" vinyl fence posts (hollow) for $50.. a little easier to work with than the round pvc pipe. HomeDepot in the states carries 5"x5"x96" posts for $22, but up here they only carry the 4"x4"x42".. at $40. :p

  • @renovatedride this is an awsome video!!!!!!

  • @renovatedride Good work! You can also use reflective foil to help bounce the light onto the plants. Try building a box, lined inside with reflective foil, and full spectrum fluorescent lighting at the top. We use it to start our seedlings for our garden each year, works amazing!

  • GREAT hydro setup!

  • This is the first video I viewed about indoor hydroponics that wasn't dealing with growing Marijuana. One day I would like to set up a small version of this that would blend in with the kitchen surroundings. They make a small prebuilt one that looks like a kitchen appliance that sits on the counter. You can only grow small stuff.VERY well done who ever you are !

  • Awesome & great pointers on the pump & the solar panels :-)

Where have you bought these panels , haven't seen these in stores .

  • I had to search long and hard for that little pump but finally got it at Home Depot. Just never saw it the first time. It was less than twenty bucks and I believe pumps under 20 gallons per hour. I run it from a set of batteries through a 110 volt inverter. Two 15 watt solar panels recharge the batteries. I also use the batteries to charge my laptop computers, run a fan, run my TV and some lighting during the evening. I'll post a video about that soon.

  • @renovatedride DUDE i sooooo want to see that set-up!!!!

  • Thanks for the comments. I live in British Columbia.....the weed capital of North America. Too much competition! I don't smoke the green anyhow. No disrespect if you do but just not my thing. I keep modifying the system and will post an update soon. I hear ya about using dirt. Gets moldy, etc. I'm gonna use crushed brick next. Remember this is a LOW budget setup so everything has to be close to free.

  • @renovatedride crushed will work if fine enogh pcs. brick soaks up h2o like a sponge!!! keep it up!!!

  • @renovatedride crushed will work if fine enogh pcs. brick soaks up h2o like a sponge!!! keep it up!!! btw...use a black light and see what it does to yer plants my daughter now likes lettice lmao!!!

  • you got the best hydroponics set up i have ever seen!! that is awesome! thanks soo much for sharing your knowlege! i am growing a medium out side garden, some stuff died, but it seems pretty good right now. i love the potatoes they are teh coolest plant. thumbs up!

  • if you are going to go to this much trouble to grow an indoor garden you might as well grow the most profitable thing of all, mary jane. with the money you make from that you could buy any piece of shit legal fruit you want

  • @akitter92 yer nuckin' futs.

  • Looks great, but it's a sin in hydroponics to use dirt as a growing medium. Ha

  • What is that little water pump? What is the name or model? I am trying to find something small like that but I only get big pumps... Thanks

  • so how did it go? is there going to be an update video?

  • better if it was weed

  • how do you keep the cat out the plants mine is a menace

  • @nimitta1

Try spraying diluted lemon juice around the plants. Most cats hate the smell & taste of lemon juice.

  • @nimitta1 WHAT YOU DO IS KICK THE CAT IN THE HEAD A LITTLE AND IT WILL LEARN

  • @nimitta1 squirt gun or the spray bottle of water you use to mist the plants. right in the kisser too. if you get him/her real good, it won't be back lol

  • Looks good!
