I like this song, however I do think the fast melody played by the saxophones was written for french horn, with saxophone support. And this band did not rush this song, it was meant to be fast, especially at the round section in the climax of the piece.

this sounds like such a great song, my concert band just started playing it a few days ago... This is incredibly difficult music to learn, and considering the concert band is for the less serious kids it really shows how great the symphonic/wind ensemble class really is. This is possibly my favorite song we are playing but even so not the most difficult. I just love playing it. GO TUBA AND BAND!
