  • i am playing that song now in symphonic band

  • LOVE IT!!!

  • I played this for High School All County last year and found it EXTREMELY easy. I love it though, oh, I'm a flutist by the way. <3

  • flute part at 3:11 is hard when it gets fast with all of those accidentals.

  • @44GamerNerd55 yep, ik how it is :) i'm a flute playing this song and it took a long time for my section to learn it

  • Played this for middle school all district symphonic band today the tuba part is difficult in the fast places but it us a great piece

  • the second clarinet part for this is so difficult. the 16th notes from a low b flat to a high b is sooooooo hard in the beginning. i wanted to shoot myself when i had to learn it. gorgeous piece. <3

  • @EmoKittyLoveXP Depends on the level of skill you have for the clarinet. I play 2nd part on this piece, and I find it easy if not too easy to play. I'd much rather be playing 1st part tbh.

  • Playing this for middle school district :P

  • I like this song, however I do think the fast melody played by the saxophones was written for french horn, with saxophone support. And this band did not rush this song, it was meant to be fast, especially at the round section in the climax of the piece.

  • Is the percussion in anyone elses band terrible?

  • @xonadu YES. half of the section doesnt care.

  • @xonadu yes

  • this sounds like such a great song, my concert band just started playing it a few days ago... This is incredibly difficult music to learn, and considering the concert band is for the less serious kids it really shows how great the symphonic/wind ensemble class really is. This is possibly my favorite song we are playing but even so not the most difficult. I just love playing it. GO TUBA AND BAND!

  • I remember when we had junior districts. And ther were 7,8,&9 graders playing this in my band class just next door. I cried watching perform it.I told my mom that im going to hire a band to play this at my wedding.

  • what is the composer/arranger named? OK

  • what is the composer/arranger named?

  • this band rushed the entire song!!!!

  • sax's need to look at the conductor to stop speeding but overall a really good piece.

  • great begining, saxes and the snares started speeding n that got the whole band to follow. great articulation and sound. all the sections are heard.

  • i love this so much. i thought they were rly good. in tune atleast. i was only in middle skool at the time but it was great to watch

  • I love 3:07!

  • snares went too fast

P.S. go french horn it the best

  • 3 before 102 was like a train wreck espetially when 2nd trombone came in he either blasted or was trying to overpower and show off. 102-118 didnt sound too good either. im in a middle school band and they couldn't find anything wrong with what we played.

  • i love playing that timpani solo, i played that bad boy as loud as i can go.

  • @Lucas6194 Ignore that, I just thought there are probably thousands of schools with a concert on the same day with the same song xP

  • @Lucas6194 my band director ended up cutting the timpani part. i played snare instead.

  • @ohhushhh No, I'm from West Virginia actually. I played snare on it too :) Very nice song, was probably my second favorite we played.

  • 3:07, some sort of music ZERG RUSH. seriously, while on the true tempo, that is not how it is played AT ALL.
