well, I think the ambiance is more intense in point'n'click games. You're not only shooting at everything that moves, not like in a loft of "horror" FPS games. The thing which is scary with point and click games, is that YOU choose what you want to do, it's YOUR adventure. Well, Scratches was a very good game with a great ambiance, juste like Sanitarium. I really think that poin't'n'click games can bring more intense feelings than FPS games.

I have to say, some of the scariest games are point-and-click, because it adds that sense that you don't have total control, and usually the graphics aren't as good, so that gives it an old-fasioned feel to it.

What I want to know is if this is based off of an actual place?

I am so looking forward to this game!!!! I loved scratches and thought it was one of the best adventure games I have played, and I have played A LOT. I love adventure games with a horror theme and I put scratches up there with my favorites like Darkfall 1, The Lost Crown, and Shivers!

@Anddos25 okay, you've clearly not played a lot of point and clicks. i can kinda understand why you might think this, but seriously, try some HORROR point and clicks. to be honest I don't think FPS games can be very scary- it's a lot scarier if you don't have a gun to defend yourself with.
