  • Gonna pick one up soon

  • it looks like the same thing but with handels that is a magor upgrade!!!!!

  • i got mad once an threw this up in the air and th wii remote hit me in the face

  • I love this controller but it should be wireless like the Wii remote.

  • i hope nindendo allows you to have gamecube compatibility so you can play gamecube games with the classic controller pro any where you want.

  • @Itshadow306 that would be nice!

  • i hope nintendo enables gamecube compatiblility so you can play gamecube games with the classic controller pro.

  • just cause somebody uses the same concept doesnt mean their copying. i mean sonys makin a wii-like controller but it looks completely different. The pro controller might look kinda like a ps3(i dont really think it looks like a ps3, but rather a 360 controller) but its not like there a million controller shape, imean what do you think there gonna make it look like, a block??? Im definately gonna get this controller

  • @bizcitboi PS3 controller looks completly different from the Classic Pro. but the Playstation Move looks exactly like the wii remote and nunchuck. I mean put the Black Wii nunchuck and the Playstation Nunchuck and see if u see a difference cause i dont. and the remotes are a little different but not that much.

  • Cool!

    5 stars.

  • hey i have the black one

can i play it not connected with the wii mote?

cause i need to play 2 players in fifa 10

  • no, you cant.

  • Cool!

    Question:

Can you play Gamecube games with the

    WII CLASSIC CONTROLLER PRO ?

  • @AaronH9111

It could be possible for Nintendo to do that via firmware.

  • so, playstation copied off of them countless times, and they didnt even really copy them

  • @kickassjoe12345 what did ps3 copy off wii?

  • @AbdallahProductions They copied the wii motion Controls by making the Playstation Move. They Basically created there own version of the Nunchuck and Wii remote.

  • @erivera1994 you said countless times, the wii actually copied sony for the motion gameplay , sony had the idea b4 wii on eyetoy for ps2

  • @AbdallahProductions lol, and nintendo had it before them, ever heard of the powerglove on the nes

  • @erivera1994 playstation move was in production before the nintendo wii was even announced...go do some research..

  • @xxxTheRunawaysxxx Um yea you said before Nintendo announced it.The move was in production before wii announced it. see announced is the key word. But before Nintendo Announced it they had it already being made before that. So the wii was in production way before they announced it which was when PS3 started making it when they announced it. So i kno my stuff. your the one that needs that research buddy.

  • @erivera1994 read my comment again...ugh?...before the ninendo wii was ever even heard off...the playsation move was already being made..

  • @xxxTheRunawaysxxx Yea before anyone new that wioi was coming. the wii was in production but no one knew it. and if sony made way before than why did they wait like 4 years to finally bring it out after the Wii's success? and why does the move look so similer to the wii remotes and nunchuk. hmmmm i wonder why.

  • @AbdallahProductions it copied motion control, and i was talking about in previous years before wii

  • What about Sony copying the Wiimote? That's worth mentioning too, if you're gonna call people 'cheaters'

  • playstation and everyone else completely ripped off the snes controller

  • @ThatIncredibleJordan good to know someone here knows the truth behind the inspiration of the playstion remote, even down to the button colors lol (not on all snes controllers)

  • can I play the downloaded games on it???

  • yes

  • its like the 1st classic control.....

its not wireless... it plugs into the wii remote, so therefore no rumble. it uses the batteries from the wiimote

  • Hurray, now I can play Geometry Wars Galaxy without my thumbs hitting each other all the time.

  • I think the reason the controller isn't wireless is because if it was, it would probably consume a lot of batteries. I hate tethering it to the Wiimote aswell, but would you rather spend money on batteries?

  • It is Wireless but they have a wire so it doesn't use as much batteries.

  • wow it's like playstation with no usb

  • ya they do make a lot off of that but being a console that only real gamers take seriously they did suffer a big loss from wii music (plus the less it costs them the less it will cost us) and most people here grew up on wired controllers and in my opinion this is a good mix

  • why do they do it that you have to connect to the wii remote? why not via the Wii's UBS port? so its wireless

  • its probably cost because if all they have to do is make it usable through their already wireless device then they wont have to put as much hardware into it

  • yeah good point but dont they make enough money from Wii Sports Sales and Wii Sports Resort

  • I own one already! It's Black, from Japan, and I didn't order it.

  • so it seems that the button in the middle of the orliginal one will never be used

  • the thing that would have made it perfect was if you were able to click the Joy Sticks down. and if they kept the GCs non-slip-comfy ass triggers.

  • finally, the normal classic controller looks neat but this looks pretty freakin sick, im so gettin it for monster hunters 3

  • looks uber cool may order one ^^

  • Looks great, but they really should've skipped the whole "connect through the Wii-mote" crap and just made it all self contained like the Datel Wireless Retro controllers.

  • do want, when does it release looks lot mor comfy then classic controller

  • Nintendo always make the handles really comfortable.

If you look at the first Joystick controllers you will see that Nintendo designed the N64 handles very similar to the Gamecube controller, the Nunshuck and this one.

  • There's only one problem I don't like about this controller........

I don't think it will be compatible with Gamecube games which is quite a shame because I have 3 white gamecube controllers and they work with just about any game on Wii.

  • Gimme gimme gimme!!!!

  • Is it just me or is this controller identical to the Sonys controllers?

  • do u have a way to make a controller that isn't copying somebody?

  • I think it is much more clever design than Sony's.

I'm not disrespecting Sony's dualshock, I just think that Nintendo takes a lot of curdosy when it comes to ease of use and comfort.

  • the dualshock is clearly outdated. any newcomer to gaming who picks up the dualshock will find it dated compared with the 360 controller, the gamecube controller and most likely this new classic controller. the dual shock only still exists because veterans are just used to it and so don't notice how dated it really is. i mean it doesn't even mold into the player's hands.

  • Sony were just lazy to produce a controller with big chunky hanldes.

Either that or they are just cutting costs on using a little extra plastic to endure customers comfort demands.

I think Nintendo have taken quite a risk entering a motion era of controls though because it could fail somehow.

I have all faith that it won't but anything can happen.

If it does then Nintendo will more likely revert back to the standard dual Joystick controller.

  • its just u

  • comes out august 1st...in japan...

  • This controller iz sexy!

  • I want the controller, but I am not buying another Japan only controller. I already have my two white gamecube controllers with a 3m cord that I had to order from japan. They are awesome. Besides like you guys said, it isn't wireless and I don't think it has rumble either? What I want is the old Wavebird controller back. I wish they would make a new and improved one though.

  • Comment removed

  • It has rumble?!?! :O!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Nope, Classic Controller never had rumble.

  • Oh it doesn't well it is wireless though it also has a wire so please tell other retards that it's wireless.

  • uhh your dumb

  • @RossEStern -

How the fuck am I dumb if I'm telling dumbasses like you what's true?

  • your just wrong this does not rumble what you said makes no sence

  • @RossEStern -

Ok so it doesn't rumble but it is wireless though has a wire.Even the original CC was playable wireless.

  • that make no scence! you just said it is wireless but it has a wire

  • @RossEStern -

Yeah it is.I've played with the Classic Controlley NOT connected to the Wii Mote

so I assume this is one is also playable NOT connected to the Wii Mote. That's what I mean.

  • how do you play with it not connected

  • @RossEStern -

    I just did.

  • what did you hook it up to

  • @RossEStern -

    ...

  • go on....

  • @RossEStern -

I just did.If you want to continue to argue fine but not really on my list.

  • wow i bet if you used a soddering tool you could use that controller on a 360

  • this is virtually pointless to get if you already have a gamecube controller

  • finally they droped the analog l and r buttons for the old digital ones

  • They should have made this thing wireless without tethering it to the Wiimote.

  • I agree, it is fucking ridiculous that it has to be attached to the fucking Wii remote, I hate it.

  • deff. It's way stupid. The only reason id get this controller would be to play monster hunter tri.

  • you could just use the old classic controller too you know

  • yea i know and thats what i plan on using but they say this is better for that game... idk

  • This thing is also wireless

  • Gamecube :)
