@goodintentions2011 I have a question. Can I use that app and export it to a pdf or word program? Do you know if there is a program that allows me to draw and save it as a picture so I can export it to a windows computer?
And about the jot and batteries.... I misread something on their website
does this app allow for pdf annotation or importing pdfs for note taking? An example for what I would need it for would be lecture note taking. If so, are you able to take notes on the imported pdf and even add extra note pages between pdf pages?
@goodintentions2011 Thank you for your reply. You can add pages in line with the pdf for more note space in ezpdf? I can't find ANY info on if it lets you do that. I have been searching for hours for something that will behave something like windows journal for slate-tablet note taking because I want to leave my clunky laptop at home. If ezpdf is what you say it is I will march right out the door and purchase a fresh tablet! perhaps the asus transformer prime
To Selxis, the palm "problem" really isn't a problem. Beside writepad stylus, there's also antipaper, which also has a palm rejection. Remember that during the recording of the video I was sitting in an unnatural position with the camera right there in my face. When I use the stylus in real life, I've never had a problem with lines appearing or disappearing. You just need to get use to it, just like any other writing utensile.
Looks like a good candidate for a stylus. :) I'm a medicine student and as such I have to write a lot and include drawn figures in the notes. So you could easily recommend this? How annoying is the palm problem (where it sometimes leaves lines unintentionally such as seen in the video at around 6:01)? That would be my only concern.
what did you set your Palm detection rate at in settings? I can't get mine to not put lines and things at the bottom of the screen. I also have trouble with words disappearing while writing. Lastly, do you have trouble with your notifications and settings popping up from your wrist hitting the time in the lower right corner. I really wished my system worked as well as yours for this.
@ZenOneMike My detection delay is set to 2. You should also try anti-paper. Very good app.
I disable my taskbar when I write. Notice in the video I don't have a taskbar.
I've put conductive grease into the ball joint of the adonit jot. I'd say the writing experience for me now feels about 95% like pen on paper. I love it. The more I get used to it, the more fine words and details I can make. This is not for everyone, though. Some people will have trouble adapting.
Batteries? Who said anything about batteries? The jot doesn't use batteries.
I already tried the David p602. Its crap.

@youwinmagic Yes, you can. Writepad stylus will export it as a pdf file for you.
