A true great team needs more than 11 starters. Not a great game at all. I am a Brazilian fan and I was disappointed with they way England played. Other than Milner I did see a player who can be a good replacement for England. Brazil was not great either but controll the game entirely. nilmar is one of brazils best forwards, ive always said it and i will continue to say it! when they play him, he always scores. hes played 9 times for brazil and scored 7 times, thats a desire to score. he would be such a great combination with luis fabiano, no defense would stop them. dunga has to play nilmar and fabiano more often so he can see what these 2 can do. i think brazil has one of the best attacks with these 2 on the field together

We didnt play well, Brazil def deserved to win.
England have got alot to learn from this match if we want a chance in the world cup finals.. I think we have the players to win it.
2:08 Obv a Foul, for me it should have been a red card he would have gotten though, And rooney doesnt miss from that kind of postion.
Oh well, Brazil should have been up 5-0 if it wernt for foster/ bad misses.
In the end, England have got to learn from this match and focusing on the world cup next year.

Firstly,England played well against brazil, we had gerrard, backham, terry, lampard, ashley cole and joe cole missing, brazil were lucky that all these players were missing. So brazil. Just wait and see what happens and the world cup. Secondly, At 2:10 that was a foul on wayne rooney clearly, and I also think brazil are arrogant and they dive around to much, I mean for goodness sake, get up!

nilmar is one of brazils best forwards, ive always said it and i will continue to say it! when they play him, he always scores. hes played 9 times for brazil and scored 7 times, thats a desire to score. he would be such a great combination with luis fabiano, no defense would stop them. dunga has to play nilmar and fabiano more often so he can see what these 2 can do. i think brazil has one of the best attacks with these 2 on the field together

England looked like a pathetic bunch of amateurs, as usual incapable of keeping the ball and giving it away again and again. The ball stuck to the Brazilians feet as always and anyone who thinks England is ever going to learn how to do that is fooling themselves. You can't have both, either we have the Premier league or we can win the world cup. If we have no time to play friendlys and the players are all injured by the time of World Cup then we are back where we started. Honda V Ferrari!

Tbh england were missing key players and Brazil werent playing at their best all game. Not an accurate assessment of the best of both teams. Good game in terms of seeing whos good enough though. Milner was alright and Lescott did well.
Wright phillips though looks out of his depth and sits behind Walcott and Lennon for the WC place.

I don't think England are technically good enough to win the world cup. They might pull off a big result against one of the top sides, but its very unlikely that they will go all the way. They'r touch and technique just isnt good enough IMO

Fact of the matter is, Brazil aren't even nearly the best international team in the World. But yet they still destroy England, even when England's best player Rooney leads the line. The fact that this particular England squad played poorly shows poor strength in depth. How do you expect to win the World Cup when the subs can't perform? What if Gerrard and Rooney are injured in the World Cup? England have work to do.
