Hey, those are some cool finds! Good to see a kid his age getting interested in this stuff, when he could be wasting away his time with an XBox or something.

I hit a really strong signal recently and pulled an old Colt Single-Action Army .45 out of the ground, dating from the late 19th century! I was excited at first, but then it discharged and the bullet hit me in the neck! I got out of the hospital pretty quick, though, and am still on the hunt. History almost KILLED ME that day! HA!

huh i just got a metal detector and i live on what used to be a dairy farm i,m only eleven so hope i find some good stuff.gonna go out today it just rained so i hope i find some good stuff.

I wish I could afford a detector like that right now I just have a bounty hunter tracker 1 cost me $40 but it works and get about 5 inches down so yep. It's my beginners detector keep finding stuff I don't have any clue as to what they are.

I find old coins all the time and I don't need a metal detector to do it..I either get them in change or I find them in the yard..I once found a Czechoslovakia coin dated 1978 and it has 5 HR on it what ever that is.
