Was never much on country until I went into the Military '95. Alan Jackson has alot of good songs, and I have to check out the old songs.(the archives) He makes you feel like a fellow country boy- and if not .. a neighbor in arms reach.(either way, you'd want to where a pair of wrangler jeans and cowboy boots for the mid-west.)

The singer describes a New Year's visit to a Montgomery grave (Williams died on New Year's), and encounters the ghost of Williams who thanks him for paying tribute before disappearing. The song also references several Williams hits, including "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry."

When he was a teenager, they moved to Montgomery, Alabama where he spent alot of his time. He was born in Alabama. So I would get your facts straight. I've probably know him longer than you. Either way, its a great tribute song to Hank Williams. Do we really have to fight and curse over stuff like this on a tribute video?
