for this tank I used what I think is call gravel filter with air rocks and the pumps at the top of the tubes. But now the turtles are in a 180 gallon and I use one 145 gallon canaster and a 75 gallon canaster plus keeping fish in with the turtles is good because the fish will eat the left over food and help keep the tank clean

i LOVE blink 182!!! this is added as a favorite :) i wish my turtle was as healthy as yours. its shell has some weird mold fungus type thing.

@advenger32 your turtle has shell rot. scrape the rot off with the blunt side of a knife (CAREFUL!!!!!!!!!). then use rubbing alchohol pads/wipes to steralise that area. and then rinse him/her off. only rub the shell, the whole shell. rinse well, but slowly. always exercise caution when handlin untraned animals. DO THIS ONLY AS A LAST RESORT, FIRST BRING YOUR TURTLE TO A VET. IMPORTANT!!!!! always keep him wet on the trip IMPORTANT!!!!!

That's an adorable set-up. Looks like you put a lot of effort into it. It must take a long time to get everything out and then back in when you're cleaning it! =P
