  • lets look at it this way, diesels have a turbocharger, that means forced induction, with "better" than race fuel pumpin through it. a "ricer" just has a small turbo that may be pushin bout 12-18psi, diesels on the other hand push close to 30psi. so no matter diesel or turbocharged car, both run forced induction so both are ricers, so you dont have a "huge ass truck" you sir have a ricer truck that smoked a ricer car, so thanks for runnin forced induction asshole.

  • By the way zebatov, if you wanna argue, the displacement of an engine is measured by the theoretical amount of air that the engine will "displace" in ONE revolution of the crankshaft, or eccentric shaft in this case. Therefore the displacement would only be 1.3L. The E-shaft spins 3 times for every one rotation of the rotor, which would mean that it would be measured from one side of the rotor.

  • Yeah, so it's a technicality, dipshit. One revolution of the e-shaft is only one side of the rotor, or "piston", as they call them in the shittier, lesser engines. Measure one third of a cylinder and you've got your equivalent.

  • If you measured 1/3 of the cylinders, you'd have 1/3 of a crank rotation, therefore 1/3 of the total displacement.

  • With about 5k you can have a 10 second RX-7. Either way it's more of a track car. As said before thats a stock NA FC. Any Turbo2 with proper mods would have smoked that truck.

  • Number one. That RX-7 is very much so stock, and very much so a non turbo FC. 160 horsepower and 140 foot pounds of torque. No doubt though that truck had serious power. I'd love to see it actually race a properly modified third gen RX-7 though.
