Is wrestling "fake"? No, how do you fake a man doing a back flip off of a steal cage? Is it "scripted"? Yes, the wrestlers plan their matches out weeks in advance esp. for PPV events. They sit around a big table and discuss how a match will go or should go because really anything can happen, anyone can get hurt and if they screw up they could die. To bleed that's called a "gig" and yes that's real as well.

I've known since I was a kid that it was fake, but what interested me were the abilities of the wrestlers to do some of the things they do [particularly high-flying wrestlers and highly skilled technical wrestlers] and the storylines. As I got older I found the whole business of it interesting, and with a more profound knowledge of the backstage workings, it's actually more entertaining than when I was oblivious.
