Doesn't the oxygen absorbers continue to absorb oxygen in the canning jar? Wouldnt it be better to store the oxygen absorbers in a mylar bag like your med?

@IllinoisPatriot2 There's only so much oxygen in the canning jar with the sealed lid on top. After all the oxygen is absorbed the canning jar is sealed similar to water canning.

I'd been using the single serve chip bags, but these are a little heavier and just the right anount smaller. Briliant! Chip bags are still good for things that may not need quite the thickness or might need just a teeny bit smaller,

@danman911 Dman's channel is The best channel I've seen. Pet medication is lower quality than human meds. FDA has many more requirements on human meds than animal meds.

Some anti-biotics can be dangerous to keep beyond the expiration date (kidney damage/failure). Be certain to ask your physician and/or pharmacist if your specific medications are safe beyond the expiration dates.
