i really think this is the most mature, thoughtful decision chuck has ever made. we all want blair and chuck together because they have great chemistry and they excite us, but as chuck said earlier in the season, they thrive on the game.

he loves her so much that he's willing to let her go so that she can be happy. he knows he won't treat her right and he'll only wind up causing her more pain.

i just wish there was some other way! this is heartbreaking.
