You get what you pay for..That is why I chose seadoo this year...i Had an FZS and a FZR last year and i spent more time driving to the shop to get it fixed than i did at the lake....This year though i got the RXT-X and the RXP-X...been to the lake once and they ride way better...look way cooler...same amount of power with smaller engine so less fuel consumption...AND!!!!!!!!!! THEY RAN ALL DAY WITHOUT A PROBLEM

jesus u lie. i've owned all the brands for the past 20 years. i currently own 2 kawasakis. order of reliability yamaha, kawi, polaris (not even made any more), seadoo last. this goes from 2 strokes to 4 stroke supercharged. seadoo = austrian motor on a canadian hull. the electronics are nippo denso = japanese. if you ask me its a mutt.

It's funny how the SeaDoo has a smaller engine and heavier hull, yet it still beats out the Yami with it's much bigger engine and lighter hull... ok, so Yami gets off the line quicker, but when we're going down a stretch you will be riding in my wake. Worth adding that the SeaDoo hull offers a very comfortable ride, yet it handles great. No sacrifices. If you want the best, you have to cough up a little extra for the SeaDoo.

you are probably right until you get into a chop..I had an rxp and it was fast on flat, good for jumping but as soon as it got rough the thing was a joke..my buddies gtx 155 would smoke me as he could run full throttle and I would bounch all over the place..the rxp hull can't handle the power. Now I have a gp1300r (not as fast on flat stock) but soo stable in the chop and predicatible...I had a couple big mishaps on the rxp..lol

the rxp x was ahead of the fzs slightly in the 2nd clip but in the first theyr neck n neck.. im guessin ther both stock.. but u can get a riva racing kit to add to the yamaha tht ups the power to 310 hp... tht would smoke the rxp x

Yamaha are very reliable thats true, but as a owner ob both brands for years, only people with few hours on water can say that yamaha goes faster and handle better than seadood...thats far from reality. On sprints..final speeds and overall handlng..rxp and rxpx models override every other model..no question.

In all honesty i have a 1996 yamaha waveraider 700, a 98 800GP, and an 08 FXSHO. MY 1997 and 1998 yamahas have never had any engine work done to them at all other then changing sparkplugs and basic maintanance. They still to this day run amazing. There is countless sea doo owners out there that are constantly replacing blown motors and broken parts on a couple year old sea doos.

Sea Doo is garbage.

Typical new Gti Limited Edition (The one with the moving seat thingy) spends an average 300+ hours in the shop for every 50 hours on the engine due to turbocharger replacesments and other gear malfunctions, a survey by watercraft world stated.

First of all get your facts straight. The gti doesnt have a turbo. In fact no seadoo has a turbo. The rxp,rxt and gtx have superchargers so not sure what survey you read and how credible it is. We sell all four brands and have equal shop time considering we sell more seadoos and have about the same service calls. 300 hours for 50 running time seems just a little crazy for anything. But like i said none of your info makes sense

First of all we sell yamaha , seadoo and kawasaki pwc and i own a kawasaki and yamaha so I am not biased and am just stating facts. We sell seadoos 2 to 1 for yamaha and kawasaki and we dont have anymore service calls on them. You stated it was from a watercraft world survey and then changed your story to say it was from a dealer. just get the story straight. And to state the facts a GTI doesnt have a supercharger either it is natural aspirated

Sea doo's have a better market background, I think. They are the more trusted brand, since they come from North America. Nobody wants to buy foregin.

And yes, I went to a Sea-Doo dealer and the salesman told me that, straight out of a book, so I'm sorry if my facts were jumbled. The new GTI doesn't have a supercharger?

I think you are talking about the GTX limited iS and the RXT is. Those are the full suspension models with brakes and 255 hp. They definately have more stuff that can go wrong .The gti is the base model.
