@dpowell82 : I'd say both are pretty equal. Never played DtR2 but this and the original are both very sloppy titles. They have a lot of unintentionally hilarious moments but from a gameplay standpoint, neither is really good.

I just beat the game today and I have to say it wad pretty bad ass. Gameplay does get repetative, enviroments look worse than detroit, and voice acting isnt that engaging. Yet the dog missions was something new/unique, hand-to-hand combat felt bone crunching, and the music sounded perfect. For $10 it was a good deal.

I was playing nintendo 64 the other day and had so much fun with old graphics. There are 3 things I have a problem with this game:

1. You can't jump. The first two games let you jump out of the way and do a slow motion guns blazing dive. Why did they take it out?

2. You do everything with the X button. I run, use objects, disarm opponents, and hide behind something. You can already see the problem in that.

3. Limited beat down moves. The highest I can get is a 5 hit combo. Seriously, I wish I can kick and spin around like the old days. Its brutal, but no brutal enough.

@noideac When a game is innovative/unique, good reviewers say the game is innaovative/unique. When a game is bland, reviewers tell you that it's bland and not worth buying. Which part do you not understand? This game does nothing to make it different, or fun. It's just so dull and average. Not every shooter plays the same. Shooters play similar, but the good ones do things to make them stand out. This one does nothing.

And if you review a game you right your own script. And if you hear him live doing commentary on matches and tournaments, he knows nothing about the games at all. He was commentating on a SF4 tourny and he didn't know who was who. Look it up and you'll see why I said that.

@dynomyck8 im gomna need some proof for those claims because adam and morgan have both claimed they were gamers as well, and Adam in particular has stated to have played many games including Ninja Gaiden, which he said was one of the best console games of all time.

If your only proof is that "he doesnt play the games he reviews", need i remind you that Xplay is a show with many people on the set and many reviewers. They have scripts to follow but that doesn't mean they don't PLAY GAMES.
