I personally think, of everyone Morello's worked with, Audioslave was the best. Not to badtalk Rage or SSSC, I love them all, nothing sounds quite like Tom, I just like Audioslave the best.

This is a soft RATM type band. Anti-Establishment... but Morello isnt as heavy in SSSC and Boots doesnt have that anger and yell oriented style like De la Rocha did. This is the type of stuff Morello likes to be a part of and he is great enough to do what he pleases.

Boots doesn't yell firstly because he's a rapper, and secondly, because he doesn't have to yell to get people to believe that he's genuine, unlike the bourgeois born and bred De La Rocha.

The worst Zach ever had to endure was seeing his father go super religious. Boots was a street hustler and has been in prison.

That's why Zach yells. A rich kid needs volume to get people to trust him, I suppose.

But if you care so much about his background, his grandfather was a soldier in the Mexican Revolution, lived in a strictly religious household, and experienced a lot of racism growing up. Yeah i know, hes no 50 cent, but he never said he was. You dont have to be poor to care about poverty.
