  • This appears to be a HUGE project. I wouldn't be surprised if a few CAT 797 and/or Liebherr T282 dump trucks and a few LeTourneau L-2350 loaders were used on this site. Anyway, the scrapers used here PALE in comparison to CAT's 666B, widely regarded as the best scraper ever made. Each 666B can heap up to 54 cubic yards of dirt. Sadly, CAT discontinued its 666B in 1979 but a few samples still exist in running condition. Maybe CAT can restore some 666B's to like-new condition and reuse them.
