@EmoPunk13100 In order to make your videos last longer, you need to have a registered copy of fraps. If you dont have the 15 or so bucks to spend on fraps, then just google something like "registered fraps download" and you should be able to find a link that has a download for fraps that is already registered. You didnt hear this from me tho.

@iiMoTiiVaTiiOnZ Hmm. Not sure whats wrong. Try changing the hotkey. Also make sure that (in the movies tab, video capture settings area) the option is marked full size instead of half size. Its also possible that your video card drivers are interfering with fraps. Your might try updating your video card driver.

@tehreview It doesnt. How do I know? Ive installed and uninstalled it on 2 different computers at least twice. If your comp got fucked up after u uninstalled it, you did something wrong. Try deleting system 32. that should fix your computer.

@WorldOfWarcraftNoobz If you have a trial account, it will only record 30 second clips unless you get an activated version. With an active version, it records the videos in consecutive 15 minute clips so the movie files dont get too big.

It could be one of many different problems. First off do you have xp or vista? Depending on which do a quick google search and re-download the movie maker for your version of windows. from there uninstall your older version of movie maker and download your new one. A quick google search will tell you what you need to know about uninstalling if you dont already know. Let me know if this works and ill look up more info. also if you have any other movie making software, try that one.

Duh u got low frame rate, use a lower screen resolution.

like i said in the video. Open windows movie maker. Upload your fraps video. go to publish video. publish it. you can now upload them to youtube. and my framerate was low because i was running hypercam2, fraps, WoW, and firefox at the same time on a vista laptop that has 1 gig of ram.

I used hypercam2. Its another program that is better suited for recording things like what your doing your desktop. Fraps is better suited for recording video games.

Na, its just because i was running WoW, Fraps, and Hypercam2 at the same time with 1 gig of ram on a vista computer. Vista pretty much uses a gig just to run the core programs.

FYI the number on the bottom right of your screen that you didn't know what it was. It is your FPS frames per second how past your video card is sending out the video to your screen the higher the FPS the better video quality and Less lag of the video.

i was using a different recording program to record this video. Hypercam2. I use fraps to record WoW because it records better quality. if you go into the movies tab in fraps, there is a box that if you check it it will record sound. otherwise it will not record any sound. so just leave it unchecked and it wont record you talking.
