Here in Finland you could get 2500-5000€ (3400-6800$) of that kind of caddy in runnin condition... it's a shame that you don't appreciate them in the states. Maybe that' s because there are still so many of them there? In my country even all the rustbuckets and broken piece of sh**s are valued like rare numbers-matching cars.

My friend and I ripped the passenger door off of a chevy capris from the 90s and painted it black and callers it the shitmobile from trailer park boys. ( the shitmobile is actually a Chrysler Newyorker from 1975. I actually own one but it's got family history).

Sorry man but I tried selling the whole car for $300 for a long time and nooooobody wanted it at all. I bought a nice 1987 that runs great with the 307 and stripped off just about every part I could need-all the fillers and trim, basically all the electronics, switches etc. etc. and this went to the crusher. Basically I couldn't give it away. The rims were heavily corroded. A guy on here in Cali was going to buy them until he saw close pics of them. Sorry you're pissed.

Yeah, the car seemed pretty shot, 4.1 were HORRIBLE ENGINES! you should have kept the rims!!!! those Cadillac wire wheels are worth money believe it or not. Very rare and hard to find! Like the 87 though, I have one too in yellow, 283,000 miles on the original engine, its a beast!

Because the entire powertrain was bad and the brakes, tires and suspension were shot. I tried to sell it for scrap value or parts and nobody wanted it. So I took anything I wanted off it for my '87 and trashed it. It went to the crusher after this.
