Also, you used the rubber pipe wrench thing backwards....that would have been fine for unscrewing stuff, but flip it around for putting stuff together.
Like your iron holder and the way you let the bit stick out, thus preventing the metal pipe work from shunting the heat of the iron that original holder was complete crap you did a well thought out job well done!!! Peter
