Why did they get rid of Pizzacam at most stores? They couldn't get parts? Idk, because it looked so cool when building, moon, and pizzacam would all come up and sing.

@tieyourmotherdown1 Basically it was just cost again... Unfortunately most stores let Pizzacam get runned down then it's like over or all of the budget to then repair him... So in lieu of blowing the budget district techs will just have the store remove him entirely. It sucks but at this point the shows not the main attraction to them anymore it's the games so when it comes to the show they're going to care less about how it looks and how much money's spent.

@pizzacam They must care a little bit, because they haven't gotten rid of the show yet. They still make new showtapes, and send out parts. Just think, in the late 1990's, they wanted to convert every single existing stage to an Alpha Studio C. FAIL!

@tieyourmotherdown1 Well yeah and they still are they're slowly ripping out the stages again and puting Studio C's in. So yes they care but not like they used to.

Did any of you know that the CEC company was considering building a 5 character studio C? Unfortuneatley I found out that they were trying to phase out the other characters and just focus on Chuck E. Thats why studio C is the way it is.

Yeah They were But they also found out it was way to expensive to produce 2 different show tapes (one with just Chuck and another with his friends) aswell it was expensive to create(?) a 5 character Studio C (a regular Studio C W/ just chuck is almost 150 to 200 thousand {I Beleve don't Quote Me Please!)

That may be, still, a studio c with all 5 characters would have been awsome to see. I know we all love chuck e. but there are plenty of fans out there who enjoy his friends. I for example am a huge Jasper fan. I grew up with all of them, thats why I dont like to see them gone. The CEC co should try to do some new things(featuring all 5 of them) if the want the cash to come in. What do you think?

I know I'm a huge Helen fan (Post Concep. uni.) And I'm with you I beleve that CEC should Make a 5 Character show!! But for fans who wish to buy CEC Shows (Like Me!) It would be a little rediculus(?) to pay alot for childhood memories!

@hunric12 Yeah same here...unfortunately they're heading in the other direction it would seem since they already tried opening a store without a show at all in Waco a few years ago.. though the guests complained until they had to put in a Studio C(the most watered down version but still)

ooh I didn't Know that I know the CEC I go to was built during the Studio C alfa craze and the CEC I used to go to before they built one like 2 miles from my houde had a 3-stage but recently got rid of it! (also does anyone know what they do with old 1,2, & 3 stage bots Aswell are the studio C masks Latex if so why couldn't they keep the latex after concept unifacation!)

Alot of times they're parted out to surronding stores with the same show and if they're not needed they're usually broken up and trahsed.... They went to the plastic masks to try and make them last longer but on average I'd say they last about the same or shorter if not installed right from the begining...

Yeah that stuff's SUPPOSED to be destroyed or sent back for parts... but like anything else some time it can slip through the cracks... Yeah the Studio C masks are made of vinyl or latex...

@pizzacam yeah That sucks if CEC wants to make big money they should sell the used shows to fans to get back to shape plus you would think if studio c masks are latex they could have kept the 3 stage like that!

Yeah Anna Grey she's a local singer in Dallas... She started doing Helen's singing voice in 1992 on the Environment show.

Well the skit itself if from the April 2001 show(Rockin' Rhymes) But they put out this 3 Stage diagnostic a few years later like 03 or 04...

Wilmington, NC? That one is in EXCELLENT shape... A manager friend of mine maintains that show and even makes custom outifts and sets for it during Xmas... He has vids of it on youtube... look up the name "CECTECHMAN"

Is this show from 1994? In one of my home videos, we're in Rockford, Illinois, and this song was playing. I may upload a small clip of it but it was back from '94 and it's mostly of the family. The rocker stage is barely shown :(

This is from the show's diagnostic DVD... This is the programing stage at the corporate offices. The song IS from '94 but this version's a remake from the April 2001 Show.

Yeah, but Munch was the leader of the band, I guess because of the same positions the RAE had with Fatz in the middle. It probably wouldn't have made sense to have Munch alone on one stage playing the keys.

Yeah, I've seen video of Studio C and I really don't care for it too much. Its kind of cheap that they only have one robot and the rest of the characters are on video screens.

I'm glad that my local Chuck E. Cheese still has the old format.

If you don't like the Studio C setup, then you will hate the fact that CEC entertainment is opening prototype stores that omit the show altogether. In the show's place is a buffet. Officials site that the shows are "not money generators" and that they can make more money with a buffet. If CEC goes this direction I do the family delivered pizza and set up the playstation and get the same experience in the privacy and comfort of home.

Yeah but they've already stopped that cause they realized a few weeks into operation that they did need at least Chuck still since parents were requesting the show/Chuck so a really watered down version of Studio C has already be added to those locations....

when i was younger, before a new chuck e. cheese was built clsoer to my house (with a stupid Studio C), we'd go to another one that had a stage kind of like the concept unification ones. this was a one-stage version.

here's my question: the stage show i'm thinking of didn't have pizzacam, the building, moon, big tv monitor beside chuck e., or the giant star. the animatronics looked a little different,too. when was this made, and why the changes?

Wow! All the videos I see of the old 3-stage show in the current-day resturants portray the robots as old,disfunctional,and just plain sad,showing that time has really past. This one,however,shows them in tip-top shape like they were in the 90's. Why can't they all work like this one?
