Great Review Victor! trustport has to rely on 2 antivirus engines but as you just proved no matter how many engines you use you can still be infected. plus the ram usage is high and it slowed the pc. there are better paid solutions out there which include zero day components (norton + sonar). i do like the interface though. thanks a lot my friend!
@TheBuckbull , TrustPort did OK on this test but it could be better. TrustPort combines 2 different antivirus engines (AVG + BitDefender) while GData uses (Avast + BitDefender), but GData has HIPS and uses a smaller amount of RAM. As you stated NIS uses even less memory and is more efficient. Thanks a lot for your comment and for watching my friend!
@acafacaa1, yes, TrustPort did OK on this test and has an excellent detection rate. But if I had to choose between TrustPort And GData I would stick with the last one because it seems to offer a better integration of two different antivirus engines - Avast + BitDefender - and it also has a behavior guard and HIPS.
Thanks for your comment and for watching my friend!
@MrArnold1972 , yes, Trustport combines AVG + BitDefender as its antivirus engines while GData combines Avast + BitDefender. They have similar in some way. The difference it is GData has HIPS while TrustPort does not. But it is a good product that can be even better in the future. Well, here in Brazil is so hot and it is raining a lot. Many cities were afected by terrible floods. I live in a city called Florianopolis (southern Brazil). Thanks a lot for your comment and also for watching!
Great Review Victor, TrustPort IS is a decent product but as you stated it doesn't have any behaviour or HIPS modules. A signature based vendor is truly ineffective when it comes to the detection of zero day malware or rootkits. Also, there are some improvemnts that should be looked upon, the ram usage should be reduced and the real time protection should be more effective since many infections were present in memory. Hopefully their next version will be more superior. Thank you my friend!
@OntOSZ , I fully agree with your words! Both HIPS and a behavior guard should be part of Trustport Internet Security to face zero-day threats and also RAM memory usage shoud be reduced. Trustport new interface is great and I also hope next version comes with improvements. Trustport uses AVG + BitDefender as antivirus engines while GData uses Avast + BitDefender. They have some similarities. Thanks a lot for your comment and also for watching my friend! You are always so welcome!

Trustport is in some AV-Comparatives tests in the top 3 I think,it has a high detecton ratio,it today's test it did OK,not perfect :)
I think Gdata is better solution if we are talking about AV's which are using two engines :)
Thak you for your time friend and for great review :)

@lnternetSurfer, yes, the is the great problem of softwares that combine more than one antivirus engine like TrustPort, GData and Coranti.
Thanks a lot for your comment and also for watching!
