i don't know if its possible in the US version of the game but in the japanese version with an action replay device there was a code for a dream battle and you could control both edea and ultimecia and fight a tonberry.

I'm a fan of both sorceress and I'd love to have ultimecia in my party. Does somebody know how I can hack her into my party without the game going into slomotion in battle?....Ir how I can hack edea into my party?, I tried it with the debug room, but the room just won't let me choose her *sigh*

I doubt it, because unlike Edea, Ultimicia was never a playable character in the game..

@RCDeschene Seifer and Edea have the same one when you fight them as well. Except in the fourth Seifer fight. That one has Seifer's casting effect being a mix of that of the party and that of the monsters.

@odinfromcentr2 Well yes, that was because Seifer & Edea are actually temporary playable characters.

Also, you'll notice that Fujin & Raijin also share this effect. As a matter of fact, if you use codes to get them in your party. Raijin will actually comments on you in battle, especially at the beginning of the game as if they was originally intended to accompany you to the Fire Cavern instead of Quistis.
