You know....reggae is a genre of music. And just because these people make hip hop music with a jamaican accent, it doesn't make it reggae. none of these are reggae as far as I'm concerned. Not saying the songs are bad.

its not reggae it's dancehall which has been described (by artist sean paul) as the son of reggae and the brother of hip hop cause it's not rap, it has the one drop but your right they are not chatting about what reggae artists from the day did. but have you ever heard of evolution? rap doesnt sound like it did in the 80s and so neither does reggae. chek fi yah facts yute!!!

None of my facts are off as far as I can tell. But o well.  I'm not even saying that I don't like the music, it's just, it's hard nowadays to find real reggae, when I go into music stores and search on the internet, the majority of what I find is this kind of music, unless I look at the older artists that I already know. Dancehall has changed a lot as well, it used to be closer to what reggae was. That being said I love Damian Marley, he fuses to two very well.
