  • Yep, a bunch of gutless cowards!

  • What Rep.Kaptur failed to mention was that a Democrat, Bill Clinton, signed the bill that repealed Glass-Steagal back 1998. What we need to repeal, actually reject, is the Ronald Reagan/ Ayn Rand legacy and vote for a visionary who sees a different path than the one we have been stuck on for the past thirty years.

  • Jack kingston set down stfu

  • I don't like Fox either but to be fair they were the only News corp. to do a segment on the 5 Israeli's detained on the George Washington Bridge on 9/11

  • this is one californian that sure would like to see what it feels like to be a citizen with the likes of Rep. Marcy Kaptur & a Sen. Bernie Sanders at the helm...(or a Feingold, Kucinich, McKinney, Nadar, Moore;], etc...). saddened by the Kaptur/Kucinich situation...still not quite over Feingold loss:(

  • We need more people like Marcy Kaptur! I regret that she and Kucinich have to run against one another in a primary next year! They are two of the few members of Congress who speak the truth and stand up for working people. If Kaptur loses, I say run her as VP in 2016: Feingold/Kaptur 2016!

  • Word sistah!

  • GOD BLESS YOU!..... REPRESENTATIVE MARCY KAPTUR

  • Another wonderful human being telling the truth. M. Kaptur you are a true patriot and a credit to all Americans

  • The problem is they want to tax people who make 200k a year at the same rate as millionaires. I think it should be on a upward sliding scale. 200k 1% increase... 500k 2% increase.... 1 million 3% 2 million 4% etc etc. That's just an example of my thinking.

  • @TomboysTv

In 1961, just 40 years ago, the top tier tax rate was 91% over $200,000. Today, it is 35% over $375,000. Wonder why we are broke? Look no further than what I stated above...

  • @Yoseman1 Oh... so you think someone who earns 200k should give 182k a year to the government leaving them with 18k to live on? The reason we are broke is because Congress spends too much. They spend with no regard for the tax payer whatsoever.

  • @TomboysTv

No genius, this is based on a sliding scale. That means, for example, the first $25,000 is taxed 10%, $25,001-$49,999 is taxed 20%, and so on until you reach $200,000. Once you read something and educate yourself, than you can join in the adult conversation...

  • @Yoseman1 Look at what you wrote: "In 1961, just 40 years ago, the top tier tax rate was 91% over $200,000." Don't insult me when you are the moron. I'm the one who suggested the progressive increase after 20k in the first place and you poo poo'd the idea stating your desire to go back to 1961's tax rates. Which BTW "genius" was 50 years ago... not 40? Do math much?

  • @TomboysTv I'm sorry for my slight mathematical error, but please don't compare that to thinking 91% tax rate means the WHOLE salary is taxed 91%.

  • @Yoseman1 Correction "200 k"

  • @Yoseman1 Also dumbass someone who made 200K in 1961 would be the equivalent of someone making $1,471,000 today.

  • @TomboysTv

I'm sorry, that was harsh. It just bothers me when people have such staunch opinions, and they really don't understand the topic. All taxes are on a sliding scale. The top tier tax rate I was speaking of (which today is 35% of $375,00) doesn't mean that the person's whole salary is taxed 35%, only every dollar over $375,000 is taxed 35%.

  • @Yoseman1 Sorry. Just read your apology after I called you a dumbass. But you shouldn't assume I don't understand. I happen to have a very mathematical mind and I do understand all of this with a more complicated depth than most. Personally I think we should go with a fair/flat tax. This way the real billionaires will actually have to pay taxes.

  • @TomboysTv

A flat tax is advocated BY the wealthy (aka Steve Forbes) which should tell you all you need to know about it. If we ever implemented a flat tax, we would be broke even quicker...

  • @Yoseman1

I disagree, we should have a flat 1% tax for everyone. Let the people keep more of the money and have less government institutions that do nothing but create debt. If you had 30% more of your income you'd spend it in the economy and we would create more jobs.

  • That's absolutely false, and let me explain why. The flat tax ideology is a myth created 100% by the wealthy, claiming it is fair. On the surface, it sounds like it is very fair. Think of it this way though with a Steve Forbes 15% flat tax. I made 10 million dollars last year, you made 50k. My tax is 1.5 mil, and I'll cry the blues that I paid 1.5 MILLION in taxes. You paid $7,500. Same percent, yet you FEEL it, I don't. I have 8.5 million left, you have $42,500....

  • @brown55061

...At $42,500, you have enough to get by, but you'll never get rich. I'll not only stay rich, but if I have half a brain, I'll get wealthy over time. Remember, there is only so much money in the pot. There is not an unlimited supply. If you allow the few to hoard it, well, you get what we have now...nothing. In the 1950's, this country had, BY FAR, the most progressive tax rate, where the top tier tax bracket paid over 90%. Of course, on a sliding scale....

  • @brown55061

...And do you know what we did with all that revenue? AMAZING things. The interstate highway system, countless bridges, damns, and infrastructural improvements. Rich people didn't go broke. nobody lost the desire to better themselves. The sun rose everyday. Also, the middle class BOOMED with all of the jobs to build these things. IF we implemented what you want, not only could you kiss roads, bridges, schools, etc., etc., etc., goodbye, but also the military.

  • @Yoseman1

Mises and Hayek would have a field day with all these misconceptions. One thing you missed, the dollar's value was 90% higher than it is today. You also never mentioned the differences in M1 or inflation at the time. Face it, you're just disgruntal because you lack the ambition and intelligence to get rich like most people do in this country; by creating a company and producing something of value! I'm an entrepreneur so I've seen your failed theology in practice.

  • @brown55061

So, we should have a world of nothing but entrepreneurs? No teachers, doctors, police, firefighters, etc.? I'm not arguing that someone who takes a shot at a business, and does well, shouldn't reep the benefits. I'm just saying that when those people pay a little more, we all do better. When we all do better, we all live better. Whether you agree with me or not, doesn't really matter. Society has been getting closer and closer for centuries, and it will get there.

  • @Yoseman1

Stop making ad hominem nonsensical arguments. I'm not self righteous, I'm a nobody and I admire surgeons and teachers far more than myself. I'm merely pointing out the trickle down effect DOES happen. The executive branch doesn't create jobs or productivity. When a govt regulates and subsidizes anything, the price increases and the quality decreases. World history proves this emphatically. Society will be chaos as the feds have no solutions for the economic demise coming.

  • The middle class are the one's getting the real screwing!!! We pay for everything & in the end they take our pensions .. What a country

  • @mrgeestacksalot

Yeah? Health care should be a right. And it could be cheaper and more effective if we had single payer with not for profit health care providers. There isn't a Catholic hospital anywhere around where I live.

Fortunately most Americans don't believe in your unregulated free market. And you are buying into this with no first hand knowledge of it at all. How could you possibly know it is 'awesome'?

  • @mrgeestacksalot

Ron Paul is against medicare and social security. He is a true believer in Ayn Rand. For these reasons alone he is not a viable candidate in my eyes.

The market must be regulated otherwise we will again become victims of abuses. The market is not some magical self correcting wonderful thing that Paul libertarians believe it to be. History show this to be true.

  • This woman should occupy the White House instead of the Betrayer in Chief currently in office. She has the courage to tell the truth. Maybe the PTB will take clandestine action against her. They might harm her family or do something to damage her health. I think the American people would vote for someone like this, or Bernie Sanders. Obviously they no longer trust the filthy GOP and traitorous Democrats.

  • Any Rand's philosophy had nothing to do with greasing friends. Her philosophy is about the worth of a man's ideals and his INTEGRITY. She has nothing to do with Goldman Sachs and the rest of those fuckers. Yes, the wealthy are thieves but it has NOTHING to do with Objectivism.

  • @reneguerrero

Those that follow the philosophy of Rand have no integrity.

  • THIS WOMAN IS A SAINT....BRASS BALLS SO BIG YOU CAN CLANK THEM TOGETHER....SHE SHOULD RUN FOR PRESIDENT....

  • None of the beatitudes say feed the hungry. The first one is "blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven",,,If your going to use it, at least get it right.

  • Blackberries, etc. should not be allowed into sessions.

  • Congresswoman Kaptur brings supportable FACTS and a passion to care for America that more representatives should strive to emulate.

  • Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur needs to run for President. We need more people like HER.

  • Kaptur is bomb. This is why she was attacked along with Maxine Waters.

  • who is the bored acting bastard behind her?

  • @babzc Maurice Hinchey from new york

  • Marcy's been begged many times by either the Ohio Dems and the DNC to run for higher office or has been on short lists as a VP candidate.

She's always refused, saying her job is representing Toledo and the people in her district. I wish we could clone her, Paul Wellstone, Sherrod Brown and many others who would stand up to the moneyed interests!

  • Go Marcy Go!

  • LarouchePAC has a feature length documentary on Alan Greenspan and the takedown of Glass-Steagall, which I'm not allowed to post a link to.

    Google: larouchepac takedown of glass-steagall

  • BRAVO!

  • ...A Christian politician actually following real Christian values?

Holy shit. Never thought I'd see the day.

  • Thank you Ms. Kaptur!

Please keep standing up against the libertarians and financial elites that are destroying this country!

  • How hard can it be to get it? They've stolen all the monetary value and authority. They've destroyed the industrial capacity and are destroying the agricultural capacity by poisoning the produce, water, air and soil. They've destroyed the value of the dollar, raised the prices of all services, especially medical and Big Pharma, and now they're blaming We the Victims and trying to punish us for being poor, hungry and without recourse. Go ahead; vote the bastards back in yet again. Idiots.

  • If there was real rugged individualism in this country, which is something I believe in, then the banks would not have been allowed to capture both sides in Congress in order to bail them out.

Instead of some industries and favored political donors getting special treatment, rugged individualism means that the big banks would be allowed to fail. Instead they are not; hence we are led with the term fascism, which means a marriage of government and industry to the benefit of both.

  • Objectivism is not a Philosophy, it’s a sickness.

  • thank you,Ms. Kaptur! no one in this country SHOULD ever go hungry! why are Republicans on the war path against poor people, women, children and anyone who didn't give them huge contributions!

  • lets go Marcy Kaptur,,,hey jack kingston shut your face your dumbass

  • Excellent! I am glad to see such eloquent and logical speech.

  • Thank you Marcy, God bless.

  • LOVE HER

  • I'd vote for her for President. Finally, someone with the guts to speak the truth.

  • God bless this woman.

  • Why cant you take them to the cleaners? because madam everyone in that gutless institution with the ability to do so is in bed with them. "Fascism has come to america" to quote the great Gerald Celente.

  • I'm so glad she pointed out the irony of the fat Wall Street cats schmoozing Congress members with expensive dinners while the poor scrounge for a meal at the food bank.

  • Gawd DAMN, I like her! How is it I haven't heard more about Rep. Kaptur before this? I suppose if she keeps making trouble like this, Fox News and the Koch Bros are going to have to get to work and destroy her.

  • Thank you Rep.Kaptur !!! You are obviously in touch with those beyond the beltway in the real world !

  • Any working man or woman that votes for the republican agenda really should see a shrink.

  • The Federal Reserve printed up 9 TRILLION for BOA, that was misplaced. The meeting between the FED and BOA took place in the spring of this year.

  • Politicians, the Federal Reserve, Banking, Large corporations, wall street, and MSM all in a very ugly marriage. They need to divorce. GS took insurance that people wouldn't be able to pay their mortgages, they made a killing on the housing crisis, and have been involved in the White House since Reagan until the present.

  • Thank you, Representative Kaptur!!!!!!!

  • I'm in love with this woman.

  • Nine people can't stand Jesus and his hippie ways.

  • Nine people can't stand Jesus and his hippie ways.

  • Go Marcy! Thank you for saying it like it is.

  • One benefit of posting videos like this is you know that anyone posting against the message is either a moron or on the republican payroll to troll the web for anything that might point out the FACT that the 'conservatives" could not care less about anyone making less than $500,000.00 per year.

  • @mrgeestacksalot: Ron Paul is a pathetic shithead who was caught spreading a good number of racist hate & fearmongering pieces in the RP Survival Report...........strangely, though, none of the MSM people, like Glenn Beck or Andrew Breitbart, will even TOUCH the guy...........with the possible exception of Rachel Maddow.

  • I agree 1000% even if you're not a christian, it's human decency and morality that these people have turned their backs on just so they can be rich enough to die with more money anyone could spend in 50 lifetimes.

  • You know what? I smell REPUBLICAN PAID BLOGGERS. Smells like chicken shit so it's easy to place. I hope at least you believe your own bullshit, because if you did not that would make you an even worse whore. So go ahead and make stupid comments. Most of the people who read comments on a speech like this can smell you out very easily. Oh yes: excellent short presentation, Ms Kaptur. It is truly a shame what a beauty contest each of our elections has become: many people like you are needed.

  • The Congresswoman is also a distinguished and very experienced real estate attorney with a Free Market economic background. She has listened to thousands of hours of testimony of the CEO Bankers as they perjured themselves.

  • Clips like these make me wonder why we're not all Democrats.

  • This problem goes back to Regan, who used the philosophies of Edward Bernays to convince Americans that the poor and homeless are in this situation because they "chose" it.

People need to really think about what their leaders are saying, instead of buying it.

If you are a Christian (I'm Atheist), then recognize that the Republicans wear the badges of "Christian" and "Patriot," but do NOT behave that way. In other words, they TELL you they're good, but aren't.

  • When politicians go from representing all it's people to taking from one group of people and delivering goods and services to another......Thats a recipe for disaster. Don't believe me? Look at the National Debt! $14+ TRILLION and counting. Enjoy your free ride, it's almost over.

  • @mrgeestacksalot: Unlike RP, she really does seem to care.........I hope =)

  • We need more lawmakers like Marcy Kaptor who tell it like it is!

  • This is very interesting. I'm sure I didn't understand most of this, so please forgive me. But my question is, what is the bill? I am not really up-to-date with what's going on in the political world. Could someone fill me in? I do understand that the wealthier people are taking bonuses when they shouldn't, and I do understand that former prez. bush fucked up the country. But that's just about it.

  • Wall Street Bankers are wimps - not one fighter in the group. AIG get pedicures - real men don't get pedicures, plain and simple.

  • The few that disliked this truthful video are from the conservative Tea Party movement, and/or Fox News viewers

  • I could not agree more " This is the most Gutless Institution." Thank you Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur for standing up for the People.

  • all for railing on the banksters, but President Clinton oversaw the repeal of Glass-Steagall and the signing into law of NAFTA/GATT which outsourced jobs. President Carter appointed Voelker who raised interest rates so high that industry skipped town. GOP overtly bows and scrapes to corporations but Dems claim to be for the worker. What is the last thing the Dems did for the worker except for betraying them at every turn? The wealthy are leaving the country, you can't tax people who arent there

  • @snappa52 I agree! Clinton/Spence Abraham/Bush have caused this to happen. But I will never forget Clinton for nafta/gatt and signing Glass-Steagal.

  • @ChicagoJoe57 not even noteworthy to point out every time a mainstream GOP politician has screwed workers because they dont hide their disdain. Dems are more dangerous because of the loving rhetoric they use to get elected, and once they are in office they kill us. Govt owned limousines have increased 73 percent during the first two years of the Obama administration just to give you a feel for their world view. A real Dem would pump money into people working on infrastructure now

  • @snappa52 " A real Dem would pump money into people working on infrastructure now " I agree 100 percent!

  • why are women having children that they can't pay for?

  • @adamsjm21 sssh... you can not ask that! its a woman's right to have children with out consideration for potential consequences.

  • @adamsjm21 Cus love happens you idiot. They certainly did not ask for the situation we currently find ourselves in and what, so you think people should have thousands stored away in case a child happens? cus this economy really allows for a savings, and of course our giving government has no bureaucracy standing in the way of doing whats right, and no politician would ever dare balance a deficit on the backs of the working poor right?....I guess its wrong to ask Christians, what would Jesus do?

  • and people still wonder why i always say conservatism never helped anyone and conservative christians should be eliminated.

  • I love this woman!

  • @Justice4all311

If he reacted that would mean that he might have to think! No thinking allowed or required.in congress.

  • If we allow the GOP to take over America there will only be two kinds of people. The ridiculously wealthy.....and the forever poor endentured slaves. If we allow the GOP to take over you will see America become another India where the wealthy live skyscraper castles just blocks from the shanty towns where food is fought over and people live like rats. Wake the fuck up America...Republicans dont give a fuck about you, except when they need your vote, and they damn sure are'nt going to help you

  • @Tribbles5227 you do realize that tax brackets group the ridiculously wealthy together with those who are well off I assume. Those people who are well off that are probably writing your checks. Those that have the ingenuity to create jobs. Not those people who are procreating that can not afford it.

  • @adamsjm21 ...obviously you have either drank the Tea or are too stupid to figure it out. Let me explain it for you. First off, and the most obvious, the welathy are NOT creating jobs. They have had the Bush tax breaks for over 10 years now and they ARE NOT creating jobs. In fact, they are SELLING our jobs overseas. Secondly, TRICKLE DOWN DOESNT WORK...IT NEVER HAS. The money does not trickle down.....im simply fills the pockets of the wealthy while the rest of us suffer. Turn off Faux News

  • @Tribbles5227 You spelled wealthy wrong.

  • @Tribbles5227 that is the hard but glaringly obvious truth

  • @Tribbles5227 : you wrote: "...obviously you have either drank the Tea or are too stupid to figure it out." LOL!!! You put it so right... and made my day! THANK YOU.

"Turn off Faux News" ROTFL again all over again! Speaking to the "sheeple..."

  • @Tribbles5227 I think it goes like this...the tax breaks for the rich have created jobs in China and India. The only thing that "trickles down" is shit.Kudos to you.We are a society of greedy skeezers who put profit before humanity.

  • Marcy Kaptur is a great public servant.....a rare breed......God bless her!

  • One of the all-too few there.

  • What is it about Ohio what with Kucinich and now Kaptur? And yes, part of my ancestry traces to that state.

  • @kd1s: Ohio does have a long history of progressive politics from what I know. {P.S. got a cousin from Akron =)}

  • Thank you Marcy! We are all struggling together out here! It's so hard to everyone barely making ends meet...

It feels like the money just keeps getting sucked upward and then hoarded...Held like a carrot on a stick that we earn $10/hour at a time... It feels so hopeless sometimes...

  • Great Speech Marcy. Thanks- Saw you on the plane on Monday Morning this week- was going to thank you for your service- and I'm sorry I didn'[t do it. I will do it the next time I see you.

  • she's one of the few real members of congress...

  • that guy is dork.....'well i wanna speak twice' waaaaahhh

  • @Justice4all311 .....sing it woman!! wooot

  • The ideology of Republicans, distilled to it's purest essence is, "Screw you...I got mine...you get your own !!!! They're no different than a certain individual who was trying to create the supreme race. They would be more than happy to see all those people in this country who needed help, deprived and in time, die off, leaving only "The best and brightest" behind. Those people in turn would then continue to ravage the planet looking for ever more profits to squeeze from whoever and whatever.

  • @savagemako17 You're right. It's not "Obama" holding us hostage. It's the corporatists who're withholding employment. They're purposefully using their power & influence to cause such vital services as hospitals, classrooms, police & fire departments, streets & sanitations, etc, etc to be dangerously understaffed so the general public (those they've used their corrupt media to thoroughly bamboozle) to panic & beg BIG CORPORATE BROTHER to save them from a government hobbled by the corporatists.

  • @FriedDaisy: Exactly. Don't think we'll hear Jim DeMint or Ron Paul talking about that, though..........

  • I love how people blame Obama for the lack of jobs. He isn't a king folks. He can't by law demand that greedy (an understatement !) corporations start hiring people. Corporations have absolutely no civic responsibilities and care only about the bottom line. Republicans, in order to regain power, need to see this president fail. That means we all fail. We have one of the most profoundly broken and corrupt political systems in the world and that will never change.

  • God Bless you Rep. Kaptur. It's good to see there's still good Christians in govt. The rest just SAY they are, some actually are.

  • @Justice4all311 he's probably tweeting one of his nude/naked pictures..

  • Clinton signed NAFTA! Clinton also wants people pushed into cities. Who knew he was so friggin' creepy! Ahh, they're all friggin' creepy!

  • @ctwatcher I remember when people used to blame NAFTA on Bush...

  • @MrSpemat which Bush lol. Maybe he started it in motion but Clinton signed it into law.

  • We all know who to hold accountable for this. Hang these banksters up and down Wall Street. They are traitors! Grand Jury and hang them. Declare this government insolvent. Debt is cleaned because criminals made the deals. China, Japan, Russia, Middle East. You want your money? Come get it. Oh, and you want to sell your junk here? Tariffs BYTCHES! The New Congress will now start issuing the money supply and on the back of every dollar will be a picture of Wall Street with all the Bankers hanging.

  • I urge all to check her history. A tireless fighter like Ron Paul and Kuccinich. Let's take back this government!

  • "The whole rest of those buzzards up there." Awesome!!!

  • What a woman! She speaks the TRUTH! which is something that is RARE in our gov't. We can and will rebuild our country without the sheet heads in office. Get off your knees America!!!

  • this lady is awsome

  • @rextrek Voted YES on $192B additional anti-recession stimulus spending. (Jul 2009) , Voted YES on $15B bailout for GM and Chrysler. (Dec 2008), Voted YES on requiring FISA warrants for wiretaps in US, but not abroad. (Mar 2008)

  • @rubanban: All of which saved us from an even worse economic situation.

  • These politicians really have no idea what's coming right at them. When their day comes, great & merciless shall be their fall. Remember the change in Poland...

  • @palatiality Actually Christian clerics has been fucking the citizens over for hundreds of years. How do you think they could afford to build all those pretty churches?

  • Thank goodness for people like Mrs. Kaptur. Such disgusting `I`m alright jack` politics purely made with corporations and the rich in mind needs pointing out on a daily basis.

And FUCK those of YOU that votes for such cunts!

  • Get ready for the NWO.. you have helped create it!!

American is falling apart on purpose to get you to revolt and start a One World Government

Have fun in your fake revolution.. This is the whole reason the internet was made for!!

  • A true congresswoman!

  • The woman has passion and speaks from her heart, unlike 1 of the heartless drones that stand at the podium and regurgitate the talking points of the agenda they receive from their puppet masters on Wall St.

The Richest Nation in the World as we're often told, shouldn't have homeless Veterans or starving children while the greedy, ego driven, narcissists on Wall St. raped our wealth, manipulate the cost of oil and drive the price at pump through the roof!

    End the FED

    Ron Paul 2012!!!

  • @PsychStudent85: Kaptur's decent, but I'm afraid RP isn't so much. Google the 'Ron Paul Survival Report'. You'll learn why. =(

  • @MiracleMile90 Thats been debunked, he wasn't the author of those newsletters!

    watch?v=k6sYZxZi4qQ

  • While this congresswoman is well intentioned, like most bureaucrats, she seems to be focused on alleviating the symptoms (with government handouts) while not understanding the cause. Sure, we understand that many millions of Americans need food stamps to survive, but why? Could it be massive inflation caused by THE FED? The weakened dollar caused by THE FED? The banker bailouts paid out by THE FED? The easy credit made possible by THE FED?

END THE FED, vote Ron Paul for president.

  • @myhipsi: End the Fed, and this country will plunge RIGHT back into a depressed state........not to mention that the gov't will no longer have control over our financial system. You wanna know what will happen? Private banks WILL rush in to take over.............as they did after Jackson disbanded the 2nd National Bank.

  • @MiracleMile90

FYI, the federal reserve is a PRIVATE bank. The only difference between it and other banks is that it is a monopoly, thanks to the federal reserve act. At least regular private banks have to compete with each other. I highly recommend you read: End the Fed by Ron Paul. It's a great book and will provide a lot of information about how the fed encourages the business cycle (booms and busts) and creates moral hazards in the economy.

  • @myhipsi: The Fed may have been hijacked by private interests, but there is a difference between it being a gov't institution being used & abused by private interests{fact}, and the Fed itself being private{fiction}. Sadly, many don't realize what I have come to understand.

  • @MiracleMile90

    From Factcheck[dot]org:

The stockholders in the 12 regional Federal Reserve Banks are the privately owned banks that fall under the Federal Reserve System. These include all national banks (chartered by the federal government) and those state-chartered banks that wish to join and meet certain requirements. About 38 percent of the nation’s more than 8,000 banks are members of the system, and thus own the Fed banks.

Privately owned, ran by a board of governors.

  • They need to cut there fucking pay checks instead of wick how long all we the peaple gone to let this shit go on take back what was ours

  • @palatiality

yes, it's like that quote from gandhi - i like your christ - i do not like your christians; they are so unlike your christ. i love god and christ but i will never call myself a christ-i-an - it's a label, a branding of just another type of hypocrite..

  • Glass–Steagall repeal was started by republicans yes rammed through no 362–57 (15 not voting) signed into law by President Bill Clinton. Interviewed recently Clinton said his words not mine it wouldn't have made a difference

  • she's correct, but she needs to realize Obama and his henchman are the same "buzzards" as Bush had. It would be nice if the American people would get even 10% of the money that Obama has spent on foreign wars

  • Ah, but the beauty of it is that working mothers usually can't take off Tuesday mornings to go vote.

  • Kingston makes me cringe

  • Jack, sit down and shut up!

  • I'm a Ron Paul Republican, and a Christian, and I like Marcy Kaptur. I think she is an honorable legislator, and I will always remember her warning us of the North American Union & Trans-Texas Corridor on the House floor.

I disagree with her belief that "rugged individualism" necessarily means that you always put your own greed first at the expense of others, and I think if Ayn Rand were alive today she would be opposed to global corporate fascism.

She always says "Our Republic". I like her.

  • @Kelldor42: "She always says "Our Republic". I like her."

Of course, she means our Constitutional DEMOCRATIC Republic........unlike the faux-libs{libertarians, not liberals here} who really want what would basically be a banana republic.

  • Marcy Kaptur is one of my favorite advocates for we the people. If we truly want to turn this country around for the good, we'll start showing up in great numbers to vote for representatives like Marcy. Stop listening to the GOP propaganda which bamboozles idiots into thinking our poor rich citizens ain't gettin' a fair shake. That's bullshit. Those greedy bastards are making it hand over fist while more and more American's wake up to the fact that they really are poor. Dirt poor.

  • This woman better run in 2016....Biden isn't gonna work.

  • @palatiality That Christianity only preaches giving is a misconception. It preaches giving, but it also preaches taking, raping and pillaging. It also preaches that god created all of existence for us, you can be instantly forgiven for practically any wrongdoing by a higher authority than law, and get to go to an eternal Disneyworld after regardless....so what incentive is there, really, for a true bible-believing Christian, to give one shit about a damn thing outside Yahweh? Including citizens?

  • Its time to show goverment who really has the power.Bring back hangings for treason! And start today!

  • @palatiality Unfortunately, fucking people over is typical of Christian behavior.

  • Whatishumans is still at trolling Ron Paul and this isn't even a RP video. We know you hate Ron Paul but give it a rest. You're making yourself look not to great. Telling us what Ron Paul wants is not effective because we can hear it straight from him. He's for the states and you should be to. The feds tried and failed, its time we do what's right for the people of the United States.

  • @Budvb He's a troll that slanders, disrespects and blatantly lies sometimes to try and make a point. He is anti-Ron Paul regardless of whats said. He doesn't care what facts are brought to the table he continues the slander. Trolls are trolls. Accept it.
