  • Fuck DELL and fuck this card. Buy a new PC ;)

  • also remember im not reasonable for any damage

  • or its a bad gpu

  • take a lighter to the gpu and get it to around 200f and let it cool on its own remember it will heat up fast so be careful take a digital laser thermostat and get close to 200 degrees by doing this your taking the moisture out of the gpu and thats what is cosing the glichis then clean the gpu with 99.9% alcohol be careful then let dry for 2 day to make shure its dry then put bac to gether and put in pc

  • Can someone help me? My computer crashed awhile ago, and a few months after that I finally got the courage to play my games on it again. I got the video card to play the games (mainly DoW2/CoH), but for some reason all the graphics on the game are set to low/medium, but before the crash it was able to set alot better than that. Whats going on? Is the VC damaged? I know not completely damaged, I can still play the games (couldnt before I got it), but now its just not as good. Please reply, thnx!

  • Что все пишут на английском

  • I used to have this problem. I updated the drivers and it went away.

  • same thing happends to me and it still does :((

  • Did you solve this problem ?

  • Some of the games, i mean. maybe you GPU memory too low for This Games Polygon that why it Happen to YOU ~!!!

  • krpa pa očistit grafično kartico. In ne vsake navlake dajat gor na računalnik.

  • the same happens with my 8600gt but my got all snowie as well and ive got three fans running in my pc as well any answers

  • overheating or old drivers

  • your video card is overheating

One time im playing SF and the monitor offs..

When i touch my video card its too hot....

    ( Like hot coffee)

I fix that without help of older than me( Im Child O.O)

I Remove my Video Card and Cleaned it then blow blow blow blah blah blah etc..

    Then it finally works...

But now.. it have an error again

    Have an artifacts O.O

  • hey i have the same problem can you help me plz

  • dude its over heating

  • SAME. Now I'm so sad about it. How to fix Please replay me TwT

  • I don't know how to fix it exactly. I had to send mine back to Dell and get a replacement.

Make sure your card is not overheating and that it gets a good air flow. If you overclock the card too much, this can also happen.

  • i have the GeWet-panty 9600x dual puzz-y xps- i recomended

  • artifacts - overheated card .

  • Same happened in 2 of my 3D games

  • Try go to canyourunit(dot)com and choose your fear game and check what u need to play it

  • SAME PROBLEM FOR ME

  • Glad to hear that its fixed. I have a brand new Radeon X1900XT in my XPS 600 so hopefully I wont have any problems any time soon.

  • I have the same video card, and 100% the same problem, what did you do to fix it?

but you can minimize the game, and open it again, some times it work..

5-10 minuts, you'll get it again.. very ignoring..

  • I had to send my card back to Dell and they replaced it. I think there was a memory error on the card itself so it wasn't working properly. I ran some tests after I got the new one and there were no memory errors. You might have to make sure your card is not overheating and that there are no errors.

  • Update DirectX, video card driver

  • That looks like a possible driver issue, Its not a texture issue seeing as your card sometimes can properly display the entire image.Maybe a Glitch with the driver and how it exectutes a particular shader sequence which drivers and patches usually fix. Also your GPU could be overheating and your card is doing what is known as "artifacting" where it displays static and random quirks in the image. Try to DL a GPU temp program to monitor the GPU Temps and clear ALL* FANS and HEATSINKS* of dust.

  • if that doesnt work... buy new card :D

  • u just need to install latest driver...

  • yea i know u got a replacement long ago, but if noone knows this, or if u didnt know this it's damaged vram....i got it too :(( watch my video

  • My moms computer does that :F could be something wrong with the videocard... drivers or some form of damage..

  • i have same prob for bf2 i did try everything but it didnt help me :(

  • idk if this will help anyone but i have the same problem right now.. and if you're like me (dell warrenty is up and can't afford a new card) then download RivaTuner and turn down the clock speed on the GPU and GPU memory.. and also turn the fan speed up to like 35-45%.. it's all an overheating problem caused by bad memory but it can still be avoided if you're broke like me lol

  • i got same problem....do u know what artifact scanning is? look at my vid TEAM FORTRESS 2 WEIRD LINES, i got same prob with ma graphix card

  • a part of ur graphica card or ur memory is burned upp, call dell and tell them to send a new computer of u still have thw warranty, and also make sure u have a good cooling system

  • Thanks guys for all the comments. Since I had my warranty with Dell, I had it replaced. Turns out that there was a bad memory chip.

  • i had same problem it was my grafic driver that needed an update well it worked for me.

  • Game issue? instal the game again maybe it will fix? or restart the pc

  • A part of your computer is overheating

  • try downloading a latest driver, it used to happen to me whilst i was in a aircraft in 2142, i then upgraded from an ATI radeon x600 to an nVidia 8600GT, then when i played the whole screen turns very bright yellow, its some sort of driver problem that hopefully will be resolved in a future driver update, but with the 8 series cards you set everything to high but keep dynamic lighting on low and it should resolve it.

  • i got the same problem like you i also dont know whats wrong with the card i think the only thing you could do is change the card... many other people have the same problem

    maybe you havnt enough power

  • cpu or display too hot, that's my own exp

  • could be the ram on the card thats overheating.

  • Theres 3 things: 1. Your card is over clocked too high.

    2. Your card is overheating (Due to room temprature or cooling in your PC/Card 3. You need a better power supply (500w recommended)

  • Card is default, nothing is touched.

GPU temps show 45-50 degrees Celsius.

    PSU is 650 W

  • What OS you running on?

You should try contacting Nvidia about the problem.

  • Windows XP Professional.

For Dell PC's, I booted into the utility partition and did some video card tests. Everything passes except for when it comes to testing the video memory. I received a replacement card from Dell, and it seems to work properly now. I'll have to do a bit more tests to find out thoroughly.

    Thanks for suggestions guys!

  • The black parts are probably the lights. When the lights are found solid on a graphics card. I know cuz it happened to me XD

  • i had this problem on stalker on a dell xps m1710 with geforce go7950gtx.. driver update fixed it

  • Drivers are all up-to-date, but still no fix.

  • download a new patch for the game its on their website

  • I have the latest patch, still nothing.

  • the problem you are experiencing is known as artifacting and its either from overheating or possibly not enough power to the video card

  • The temperature ranges from 45 C to 55 C.

    I have a 650 W PSU.

  • I have that same video card. I play BF2142 but I've never experienced any of those problems. Don't now of any problems that the 7900gs has with games either. All I can suggest is to update your drivers. If that doesn't work, then call the manufacturer.
